Christmas day dinners- starters?

What are your favorite starters? Or do you skip them?

I like broccoli and stilton soup but husband and children arent keen.

I’ve made the same starter for the last three years running because it’s absolutely delicious 😋

Asparagus wrapped in Parma ham
Ham hock
Honey baked feta

Sadly I can only ever have a tiny portion because it makes me too full before the main!

I don’t bother with them but I think smoked salmon blinis are a nice option
