Tesco Christmas Slots 2025

They're open from 06.00 tomorrow morning.

Every year I end up with too many things like apple pies and Christmas cakes.

Do you have to be on the “Anytime” delivery saver plan for access to these Christmas slots?

Alarm is set and I’ve brought the iPad and laptop to bed with me so I can do it without leaving my cocoon

Ugh I totally agree.

I'll be setting my alarm too. We are going away for Christmas this year. We're self catering in the Highlands of Scotland and I don't think there'll be much opportunity to shop when we get there so I'm planning to take all the food with us. I want a slot as close as possible to when we're leaving so everything is as fresh as possible so I daren't risk leaving booking til later in the day, much as I'd like to.

Well it’s official, I’ve been influenced by Mumsnetters. I have signed up to Delivery Plan and I’ve set my alarm to 5:30am 🤔🫢😱

I was tempted but decided not to change. However I’ve just looked at today’s emails and I have one from Tesco reminding me that my priority access to Christmas slots starts tomorrow at 6am! Maybe there’s a glitch in the system and it’ll let me book despite only having off peak delivery saver. Now I’ll have to try tomorrow just in case it works 🤞

I always wonder about the holding thing
I’ve often logged in about an hour or half an hour early and am then three billionth in the queue. At what point can I log in and join the queue?
I can’t now, obviously. So what time does the holding come into force?

I think it's about 5am?
I don't know, because I only ever log in at about 5.45.
I refuse to get up any earlier.

I usually use Tesco website when booking my Christmas slot.

Would it be better to use the App do you think?

I honestly don't think it makes any difference.

I not really fussed for using their app but this little gem at the end of the email I received about the date and time of the availability of the slots has made me second guess myself..

For the quickest and easiest slot booking, make sure you're using the latest version of the Tesco app.

I miss when they used to release the Christmas slots at midnight, I'm definitely more of a night owl 😴😴😴😴

Weirdly though, the Tesco delivery slot queue has become part of Christmas for me, it wouldn't be the same without it! Probably a tad worrying.... 😆

Me too. I’m trying to go to bed early so I can be awake on time and cope at work after but I know I won’t be able to sleep

Ive never booked early, but I've always had a delivery Christmas eve. It was a bit close last year but I snagged a cancellation a few days before the big day.
Im myopic so I cant go into a grocery store physically. I walk into everything and cause chaos at normal times of year!

My brain is fabulous.

4yo old woke up at 2:35am, I helped her resettle and my brain is wide awake, because ‘you need to be up soon!’

Work should be interesting later, pass the (Tesco) coffee, friends. 💤
