I'm taking a punt here that we won't need another thread before Christmas, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

I’ve emailed them a couple of days ago and no response, surely they have an update by now tho so I’m hoping they can give some sort of info via phone! Problem is that no doubt the sizes have gone out of stock now if they needed to resend 😒

RE: converse

Just spoke to them again via phone and they’ve said there’s quite a lot of orders still to be collected from the warehouse from before Xmas. Apparently their warehouses were closed for a week over Xmas and that’s why some of the orders have been collected and received yet.

They have told me to call back on Friday if no update but said there is no issue with the order and that we will get it 🤞

@MamaK19 , there are quite a few Soap and Glory items in today’s Boots £10 Tuesday offers.

Some things are not reduced by very much but others are more of a bargain.

It wasn't a competition and I didn't enter anything.

It's strange how these massive companies (ie Bridal Beauty) don't take advice on how to word their offers.

Then they don't have enough to meet demand and have to disappoint customers. (Not in this instance as it was only chocolate).

Yes, I got that email from them this morning, too! Really wasn't clear that this was a "giveaway" - in fact, I think they've changed it after the fact! Bit sceptical about them removing my details...

If anyone is after bargainous wrapping paper IRL to put aside for next year Flying tiger have reduced their paper to 75p a roll and most of the accessories like tags ribbon and bakers twine etc are a similar price. I have presents to wrap for tonight so was able to snag a roll of nice paper and two boxes of tags and twine for £2.25. The paper is quite a generic leaf pattern so I could use for birthdays as well.

I too received my Terry’s email today saying the same. Oh well, I don’t often buy them
but may now be less inclined to do so in the future.

In comparison, I think Tony’s Chocoloney got their Priority offering spot on and I have bought more since 🍫

Thanks @OrangeQualityStreetAreTheBest for the Celtic &Co code. I hadn’t bothered earlier in the year because I didn’t need anything, but my boots have started slipping so I think the insoles could be just the thing.

When I tried KXMAS24 it said it had expired, but NXMAS24 gave £25 off, so 2 pairs of insoles for £9.95 delivered.

I got the Terry's email too. So rubbish. I feel about it too as I think I shared the link on here, but it was on hduk and seemed legitimate.

Why on earth didn't they limit it? It wasn't a competition- it was a link for a free chocolate orange.

Has anyone managed to get on the website for this? It's been down for me all day!
