Posting on behalf of @reastie hope you don’t mind 🎄 🎅

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.
It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.
Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!
@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps
A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:
It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
No affiliate links
No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
Be nice or leave
If you have any voucher codes to share (or want to check for any) then have a look https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212144-sharing-voucher-codes
The current referral thread for sharing referral codes here . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.
To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk
Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)
So starhellostar would look like this.
hello
Obviously use the * not the word star
Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

Sounds very festive. There's the actual Polar Express train here this year, but it's ridiculous, like £250+ for 2 adults, 2 kids.

Wow that’s a lot!!

My really difficult to buy for 16 year old has recently started drinking coffee and enjoys hot chocolates too. I know I'm too late to find bargains now but has anyone seen any cheaper coffee machines that uses pods?
many thanks

Aldi have two coming out this week

YouCanLetItGo · 07/12/2024 08:11

SimplyBe code has changed to SBE20 for 20% off fashion and beauty, including sale.

Serenitesanta · 07/12/2024 08:24

Bridal beauty company has mystery boxes on sale since 8am.
Was there a discount code which could be used with these, I seem to remember there was

BourbonsAreOverated · 07/12/2024 08:28

Thank you
@IlovePond @fishfingersandchipsagain
@Arglefraster and @RestitutionGranted
for the skin care suggestions. He’s got lots of aftershave, and I knew it would be tricky to find nice smelling skin stuff as it has the potential to make it worse. I might get one small sensitive but scented shower gel for a Christmas treat and then some of the nicer non scented face stuff for the rest of the year.
the normal skin stuff is so much nicer to use and the bathroom smells lovely and so does your skin. It’s a shame isn’t it.

JamJarBinx · 07/12/2024 08:35

Apologies I don't really know much about this but it seemed like a good deal.

Avant has their glow starter set worth £125 for £40 then with code glow29 it brings it down to £29. It also contains a £40 voucher.

IlovePond · 07/12/2024 08:42

Morning, ELF have got another deal on:

Free delivery on all orders £5 or more
Free eyeshadow palette with EVERY order

As with all ELF offers, it’s likely to be a blink and you miss it kind of deal.

This morning I got a lipstain, free blush beauty wand, (I redeemed points), and the free eyeshadow for £6!

Babynumberthreeee · 07/12/2024 08:42

Sorry I know this has been mentioned loads but can someone link me to the bargain ear camera and also the earbud cleaners please

(Even if they're not bargainous at the moment I'll add to my basket and keep my fingers crossed )

Nestnearlyempty · 07/12/2024 08:43

bizzey · 06/12/2024 23:51

Ahhh. .it is the 20% code I can't see/find .

I have got a hand scrub in there at the moment.

And the 3 X hand creams at £8 instead of 12.

Coming up as 17 . 50 .
But that's not £2.50 😂!

Edited

I can’t find the 3xhand cream offer- could you point me in the right direction please?

I can’t find the 3xhand cream offer- could you point me in the right direction please?

It pops up when you go to your basket - with the code LOVE you can get the mini handcream set or a tote bag for £8 instead of £12.
These are the hand creams, but I don’t think you can get the offer for £8 unless you’re also buying something else (the other item can be a very cheap item, and you can use the 20% off code with the full price item alongside the LOVE code for the £8 hand creams):

shinny · 07/12/2024 09:24

Whistlefish have another card offer - 12 for price of 10 however still need to pay postage which is £3.75!

this threads have ruined me for paying full price!

UntamedShrew · 07/12/2024 09:36

Did the Celtic & co codes all expire? Keep remembering people I’ve forgotten to buy for..!

UntamedShrew · 07/12/2024 09:39

Ignore above - was typing it wrong! Nxmas24 still gives £20 off

RJnomore1 · 07/12/2024 10:10

Warning re loccitane - the hand creams are tiny, 10ml each. They'll be lovely but just do people aren't disappointed. I managed to get the stomiser, which I needed, delivered for £3.20 which has made me very happy but I gave the hand creams a pass, they're just bigger than samples.

Did you mean the atomiser? That's what I bought too, it's been out of stock in my local store for ages and it's too small a purchase to buy online without the free postage.

RJnomore1 · 07/12/2024 10:31

I did sorry! Fat fingers on my phone keyboard. They told me they don't sell it in the shops so was delighted to see this offer.

fishfingersandchipsagain · 07/12/2024 10:46

£15 off a £90 spend at Decathlon with code EARLYXMAS

a lot of MNers seem to be super organized @pinkchampagne1

If you wanted to post a list, I'm sure many will help you out?

DeathStarCanteenGal · 07/12/2024 11:03

Truffle Shuffle have 10% off a £30 spend with SMALLBIZ
not the biggest bargain, but might help someone. they're good for TV and movie merch

Georgieporgie29 · 07/12/2024 11:08

I was going to offer up a Boots one today. Todays advent calendar gives you a free mascara, however, I’ve just sent my DH in for one and there’s none left already so I’m not sure how good an offer it is but if anyone’s passing a boots it might be worth a look.

Bryna · 07/12/2024 11:18

If anyone has some ideas for my dad I’ll be very grateful!
He‘s a farmworker so is @ work 7-7, 7 days a week, doesn’t have hobbies, doesn’t have internet (did think he might like a digital photoframe of the grand kids!), wouldn’t do an experience day, he buys what he needs, and I feel that whatever I get is just more ‘stuff’ that he doesn’t really want. I struggle every year.

Hohohopeful · 07/12/2024 11:18

@pinkchampagne I feel the same this year. I'm usually more organised and in the last few threads o
I don't think I've shared any bargains where I was much more useful earlier and in previous years. You will get there. Remember this thread is more organised than normal people and online shopping is all still available if you can spend an evening this weekend.

I was just looking to find a bargain to share on camel camel camel to make me feel less guilty and spotted you can get 160 size 5 nappy pants from pampers for £22. We are long out of nappies, but that seems a great price, though not at all Christmassy! pampers

Ooh and for £6.65 a lovely basket of le toy van wooden vegetables. This is a good price for a wee add on gift vegetables

You've probably exhausted these options but either things to eat or things he can use while working - eg warm hat / sun hat, gloves, hand warmers, nice bottle for drinking or one of those stainless steel lunch boxes to take his lunch or snacks in maybe?
