Tesco Christmas slots

It’s that time again! Anyone else waiting for the queue to open?

There was no option for me to join the queue before 6am ?? I was up at 5am and waiting. Joined at 6am, got in at 7.30am.i slept with my tablet next to me and alarms to periodic wake me up to check the queues. Got the dates I wanted, key one was Sunday 22nd. 24th is leaving it too late imo and the risk things are out of stock and v little time to sort

90 mins queuing and the latest slot is 2nd December !!!!! I can only assume that Northern Ireland stores haven't opened their Christmas slots yet

Bugger, I forgot. Now in a queue, roughly 50 minutes wait time ☹️. Hoping I’ll get on before I leave for work.

Did you click the Christmas slots banner when you got in? Also do you have a delivery pass?

After the amount of substitutes I ended up with last year I will do it the hard way.

I'm confused, I'm in but can only scroll as far as 02 Dec?

Delivery pass - is this delivery saver ?

I'm in. All 23rd December slots are gone. A few slots on 24th December afternoon but that's too risky if anything is missing. I have booked 22nd December evening.

I joined the queue at 7am and was in at 8.15am.

You can only book a Christmas slot today if you have a delivery saver plan

I'm new to this. I have questions please !!

1. Does delivery saver mean you can book now into december?

(i'm in the queue - but only logged on to book my normal shop!)

Two. Can you have a xmas delivery booked and still book your weekly slots each week?

I've set an alarm on my phone to remind me, otherwise I'd just be collecting milk and cream...!

I do wonder why all the other supermarkets have such a smooth process and Tesco has this annual scrum. Do more people want Tesco? Or do other stores have a better system?

I had to wait just under an hour after logging in at 6am. I’ll probably end up doing most of it in person as there’s only three of us this year and the turkeys are too big for us. The smaller frozen ones are only available up to the 18th and I booked the 20th. I’ll probably go to Lidl the day before. The beige ‘party’ food is always so uninspiring and unappealing.

Waited about an hour and 20 minutes. Got in and plenty of free slots to book.

Also new to the pass.

Booked Christmas and a week before slots with 45 seconds spare to get out on school run!

We will be just fine for blueberries come 15th December!

For slots, off peak isn’t available for today (they’re bundled in with the general release)
and you need to click the Christmas banner above the delivery slots option otherwise it will just be to the usual early dec.
