Lynx items in boots online at the moment - I’m eyeing up the set of 5 body sprays down from £20 to £10 for DS

Not very christmasy but nephew has asked for Doc Marten boots already. Do they ever get discounted? Where is best to find them?

someone posted this site yesterday for ex-display Docs, don't know if they'd be suitable?

PurpleSock · 04/09/2024 02:33

Thanks all for the "dry robe" recommendations, I bought a regatta one off amazon for £55 in the end (dark camo if anyone is interested 😂)

Amazonmulu · 04/09/2024 07:04

@beetr00 thanks!!

Rubyrubyrubyrubes · 04/09/2024 07:22

Place marking ! Wjj hi o knew I needed a heated throw?

Flubadubba · 04/09/2024 07:29

Another heated throw sheep.

Was DD's birthday earlier in the week, and 90% of her gifts came via this thread...

Livinginacatdictatorship · 04/09/2024 07:31

Morning everyone 🖐 has anyone bought anything from Valentte? I've seen it mentioned a couple of times (although they were in older threads I think) and I'm a bit on the fence to order. Can any one recommend if their stuff is good? Thanks!

CarrieMoonbeams · 04/09/2024 07:36

Hi @Livinginacatdictatorship , I use them regularly, their stuff is lovely. I buy the reed diffusers, they usually have some good offers on - e.g. in my most recent order I got a really nice bar of soap for free. The scent is amazing.

One thing people do complain about on here is the sheer volume of emails, but I was able to change the frequency of emails I received, no problem.

Luhou · 04/09/2024 07:42

Few barbie deals on at argos.

These make lovely stocking fillers at £4

Blessedbethefruitz · 04/09/2024 08:11

@Livinginacatdictatorship It's not my kind of thing in general, but my mum absolutely raved about her set last Xmas, and has got bits for each event up to and including this Xmas in my stash!

Flubadubba · 04/09/2024 08:17

@Livinginacatdictatorship lasts a while and actually scents the room. Worth being very sure someone likes the scent when you give it- we had a lemon diffuser that made the room smell like lemon for months on end...

Bridal beauty have 20% off everything and free shipping with code SUMMER SALE

MamaK19 · 04/09/2024 08:26

Nipped on to boots website this morning to order foundation and saw this! Looks like it will end at 1pm but worth keeping in mind if you are buying bits anyway 🤶🏻

Can anyone recommend a toy double decker bus. I need it to be large, ideally with doors that open or some way of getting toy people into it (a removable top?!). My DS (5) has imagined this toy and I know he's not going to forget by Christmas...

@BananaWoman999 you'll find bus and transport themed toys and accessories here.

Any ideas on a gift for a 7yo boy. It's actually for his birthday in a couple of weeks. Only a token gift as my DD is going to his party as a friend for his sister. He loves football & anything outdoors. Very active family. They also play a lot of board games. I was thinking of the Taco Cat Cheese Pizza game but welcome any inspiration.

BiddyPop · 04/09/2024 08:42

If you look at the organised Christmas or organised home websites, there is a handy list of jobs to do for each room - I use that as a handy reminder of all the things to think of but I have learned not to feel guilty about whatever amount I actually get done compared to the extensive list...it's all more than would have been done otherwise.

BiddyPop · 04/09/2024 08:42

Ooops sorry wrong thread!

Also York designer outlet has a shop if you are anywhere near?

Thelifeofawife · 04/09/2024 09:59

@Livinginacatdictatorship I have purchased a few things since seeing them recommended on here last year. I get the reed diffusers for myself, they often do an offer of 2-4-1 or similar, and you get free trial sizes of creams, etc. They smell lovely and they last, I’ve tried a few scents
Last Christmas there was a deal where you could get little gift sets with creams and wax melts, I think it was just postage I paid for.

Lisamari99 · 04/09/2024 10:05

Someone was looking for boxes/containers for food prep. Qvc has a set of 6 glass ones with lids as their TSV today. It's from Lock n lock , their stuff is usually good
