And with cups in mind Stojo have a few things in the sale.

There's a four pack of 12 oz cups which brings them down to £8.75 each rather than £12, and the sets of bowls bring them to £11/12 each rather than £16-18. Similar for the bottles. Not huge savings, but might be nice if you have a few teens or young adults to buy for?

Yalz · 28/08/2024 02:30

Boots £10 offers are live. There's a Sanctuary Spa candle, normally £22 it says, which might make a useful gift.

Thanks, just got the liz Earle cleanser and toner on offer

I am looking for some art and craft bits for Xmas if you find any let me know

Conqueeftador · 28/08/2024 07:27

Hi, just starting to think (panic) about Christmas coming up, so I’m back in for all the fantastic help you always supply.

Ive spotted on TK Maxx online this morning they have a few fjallraven kanken bags with a good price. My niece is mad for them, so figured there must be other teens feeling the same.

I see they also have anal beads on offer which might make an unusual stocking stuffer... so to speak.

Makes a change from the dildo that's on there most weeks! 🙈🤣

Thanks everyone for all the brilliant hot mugs recommendations. I knew I could count on you all to help!

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2024 08:03

I really rate the thermos king range. We have travel cups and food flasks. All been used for ages and mine is bashed about from being on the farm. Keeps me drink too hot tbh.

crisis1000 · 28/08/2024 08:13

Thank you for PP with the House of Fraser sale link.
Crazy good bargains to be had.
I've kitted out our playroom and there was so much more I wanted, all really cheap.

The wider sale has great bargains too - bedroom furniture, towels etc

crisis1000 · 28/08/2024 08:16

A reminder to always check topcash back and Quidco before ordering anywhere - I've gotten into the habit this year and it's very rewarding! Just downloaded an £80 voucher for going via TopCashback when I took my car insurance out 😊

mummyof2boys30 · 28/08/2024 08:50

I also got the phlat ball and tiger who came for tea 🙈. Quite a few squishmallows in argos 3 for 20

allatonce99 · 28/08/2024 09:28

Not sure if already posted but...

Crawl ball on amazon is £13, I used my baby wish list to get it for £11.05

There are a few prices drops on Vtech and with the wish list they drop another 15% but not camel lowest prices so will hold off on the rest!

Contigo byron is £8 something on amazon

mummydoris2006 · 28/08/2024 12:53

I always say how much I love Christmas but actually in reality, it's the run-up to Christmas and anticipation that I really love. That's why I live for these threads, even though DD is now 18 and her Christmas list is very specific and includes no toys etc.
I still love to find an offer and post on here, not as often as I'd like, I'm no where near as good as most of you at finding the bargains. I'm ashamed to say I become totally swept away with the 'must haves', trying relentlessly for days to get hold of the Amazon Dairy Milk, sorry to say I never succeeded though!

UrbanMage · 28/08/2024 13:24

Studio order is bugging me - it is coming in drips and drabs, but there were some good stocking fillers on there. Tenth year of this thread for me. DD is 9 and we’ve had some excellent bargains over the years. She’s not so much into toys anymore, which is sad. Have got her theatre tickets for her main present, but Minecraft and starwars stocking fillers will be what I’m trying to find.

preens I was one of the first to recommend Lisa Angel. I still love them, but have found that their prices are edging up from the good value stocking filler to more considered purchases these days.

And the smashed grapes fiasco last year made me wary of being swayed for things we don’t really need (with 3 cheese boards on the way!) as it had lukewarm reactions from my in-laws.

I’m the same. It is all the cosy nostalgia for me!

Scout2016 · 28/08/2024 13:51

@Cupofteaandbiscuits that looks great. How much adult help is needed please, and can it be done from an ipad rather than phone?

workworkwork123 · 28/08/2024 14:00

Has anyone used jam donut? I've seen it advertised a lot online but not sure if it's any good?

daisyboo1 · 28/08/2024 14:04

Thanks @Lisamari99 !

Sideorderofchips · 28/08/2024 14:18

I'm the same. I love the run up to Christmas more than the actual day itself

A recommendation on this thread last year proved to be the big hit of Christmas and is still used every day! For my 9 year old DD

www.argos.co.uk/product/1304516

Thanks for this suggestion, just the thought of thing my daughter would like. Can you remember if this was the price you paid for it last year? Wondering if it might be one that comes down in price around Black Friday time.

One of my friends uses it and raves about it - I keep meaning to sign up to it and forgetting!

Every time I open this thread I spend at least £30...whoosh, there it goes! 😂
