I'd forgotten about the White Stuff sock calendar! I packed all my socks away with the Christmas stuff.
That was a mad bargain and I was so impressed with how they handled it - lovely customer service.

DressOrSkirt · 27/08/2024 10:12

Some gift sets from last Christmas at really good prices in the Revolution sale including a mask advent calendar for less than €12

rhubarbhandsoap · 27/08/2024 11:05

@DressOrSkirt thank you! Perfect advent calendar for DD2 and grabbed her an eye palette as well 🥳🙌

captainjacksparrow · 27/08/2024 11:13

Just delurking to say I was the OP who asked for a mooing cookie jar. I still can’t believe the drama it’s caused or that people remember it! 😂

anyway I’ve been here ever since hiding and benefiting from all the bargains.

thanks to all - this is my happy place 😊

Not sure if it's everyone but I had a Playmobil eBay coupon of 65% off

So I got the country horse transporter, limited edition road works construction and horse of waterfall with farrier for £31.14. Should have been £88.97

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 27/08/2024 12:39

Argos voucher if useful to anyone, £6 off a £60 pound spend.

The tiger who came to tea puzzle book is bk at £1.50 on amazon x

I love these threads too. Thank you to all who post. 🙂 I'm not a huge chatter as I tend to check the thread every couple of days so miss the flow of the chatter but love reading all the comments not just the bargain links.

My absolute favourite bargain of them all was a Brio train set with a little farm/barn theme. It was something like 70 or 80% off and is still played with, and was such a lovely big gift under the tree!

I try to be restrained and only buy what we need or will be truly loved but do often end up treating myself too ha ha.

For anyone who may have someone who likes Funko figures, Poundfun have some little Funkos that come in a "Soda Can" type packing for £5. I ordered a Jack Skellington gingerbread one for DS1 who loves Funkos, soda and Nightmare before Xmas. If you type funko on the website search bar there was a few different ones eg Marvel, Mad Hatter, Disney etc.

I also ordered some very cheap stocking fillers items for Poundfun very cheap eg mini Christmas activity book, Xmas slime, Xmas slap band, spinner etc that will be excellent for youngest's stocking. They were all well under a pound each! Oh and some slime. 🤣

They also had a Gabby's Dollhouse surprise slime if anyone has a Gabby fan. 🙂

Poundfun is on topcashback if anyone uses that too.

Thank you for the Poundfun recommendation! Ordering some slime for my two to have in their stockings because it’s banned in our house so they’ll definitely not suspect it’s from us!

Phlat ball £2 on Amazon

If you get 4, you get 5% extra off (DD starting reception, so replenishing my present stash).

Annoying as I got the same one for £6 a while ago.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 27/08/2024 15:12

I have absolutely no idea which Tiger who came to tea book keeps dropping to £1.50, but I can't find one on Amazon either.

I did find this jigsaw one at Argos for £1.50 though.

@ClaraLane I was the one responsible for the Turtle Doves. (I won't disclose how many pairs I bought when they were only £7.99)

I have also worn my White Stuff socks all year round as I managed to blag two calendars. This morning I am sporting reindeer ones. It's really never occurred to me that they are mostly Christmas themed. Good old White Stuff!

Never did like the Cinnamon Buns myself, but they did make a good gift (nicely weighty and it's always pleasing to wrap a box shape!)

My Dad never got round to drinking his smashed grapes wine, I dont think. He did eat the cheese, though. I also still have one bar of Dr. Botanicals soap left. It's the rhubarb, and while it has lost it's scent, it's still quite a vivid pink!

Anyway, my offering for today is for anyone living in North East England If you buy tickets for Northern Stage production of A Christmas Carol before 12 September, then kids tickets are free I've done it for years and it ends up being a very reasonable and lovely evening out (DD no longer wants to go, but we have some fond memories, and they really do put on a fantastic show)

Bolded important parts so they stand out from my wafflings.

Edited

The Turtle Doves gloves were amazing! I didn’t get them as cheap as that, but I got 2-4-1 and they were lovely.

I also got about 10 giant dairy milk bars - 2 of which remained ungifted and DH and I were struggling to eat our way through them before they went out of date 😅

My DF’s Smashed Grapes cheese & wine set was gone within a week, that was a great little treat.

The Gruum gifts/toiletry bags were a great wrap up too.

I am lurking now to see what other bargains (and things I don’t actually need) that I can get my hands on this year 😁

That same one :)

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 27/08/2024 15:29

I bought the Turtle Doves wrist warmers too. I remember an offer where it was a lucky dip but you could choose a colour group e.g. pink/purple, yellow/green, black/navy. I got some lovely ones from that.

Boots have 20% off most perfumes at the moment. I know they'll get the gift sets in soon, but if you never use the body lotion etc it might be worth having a look early.
