Feel like I'm looking for the impossible but reaching out to you all just in case you've got any tips!

Trying to find this anywhere in stock that isn't a crazy ebay price and more like £10 or under.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve been here since Robert times too. Mainly a lurker, pop on to comment occasionally.
These threads have brought the whole family
some amazing presents - I’m so grateful to you all!

@PumpkinSpicedTea I’ve looked and can only find the eBay one.

If you have no luck with a bargain, this is the manufacturer Golden Bear Toys, they’re a small firm, maybe they can help.

Cult beauty have 20% off everything or 25% off over £100. Has brands such as Sol de and byoma which I know are popular with the pre/teens

Anyone had their heritage of Scotland parcel had the order confirmation but no updates on delivery?

I got my heritage of Scotland order around 5 days after delivering. It had all my Christmas bits inside!

This is that one, there are some brand new ones too but not that exact one I don't think.

Oh thank you! I searched Vinted but maybe need to change the wording as nothing came up!

Thinking about the age of these threads, I remember buying some heavily discounted ELC stuff for DD and posting about it on here. Must have been 2014? Wow! Time does indeed fly.

TheGirlWhoLived · 25/08/2024 12:12

I’ve been here since the beginning I think! Luckily Robert(s) are a distant memory due to a house move. But the arguement about the cow cookie jar was a particular highlight. That year everyone in my family opened a woolover jumper. Those hampers that we had to get the money back for. Various glitches, including loads of socks just last year! Trying to get LOL surprise bath bomb sets for a now teenager or hatchimal for someone who’s list only now contains skincare is disheartening. Getting a gift from the mumsnet secret Santa (when that was a thing!) after a knobber of a year was lovely ☺️

Here’s to a happy 10th year!

SconeisGone · 25/08/2024 12:14

Robert! I too am a long time name changing year round addict to these threads. I have a couple of ‘empty’ boxes up high that I throw things in as they arrive. Near to Xmas I lift them down and see if I have enough for everyone. There are always lots of lovely bargainous surprises.

Hohohopeful · 25/08/2024 12:22

Is it only 10 years? I'm sure you were here foe my DD's first Christmas in 2013. (I also thought I had missed the first year).

Either way it's a long time and I love these threads. (I constantly name change after that data release many years ago where usernames and emails were leaked). Thanks everyone for all the bargains and chat.

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2024 12:28

The Woolover jumpers were the BEST bargain. I gave my dad two, and I reckon he still wears them!

SconeisGone · 25/08/2024 12:28

Ooh, who remembers the thread where a poster said if you PM me I will tell you what I know from your anonymous posts? People were scared by how much they were giving away by having the same username for eons.

Reastie · 25/08/2024 12:44

CandyRaining · 24/08/2024 23:52

I remember the first thread, my dd was 3 and I got her lots of pumpkin patch clothes from the thread. Lots of other stuff but that one really sticks in my head. She’s 13 now and I think the same age as your dd @Reastie as I think the following year we were talking about them starting school. Time flies! (I name change quite often so you won’t recognise me).

Yeah - my DD is also now 13. It's crazy when I think of all of the things I've got from the thread for her Christmas presents over the years :)

We might well have been tbf. I just know it's 10 years or over as my thread baby is 9 and I was thinking about it

Even scarier then!

Yes, I member baby chips too. It's mad how this thread has informed to much of my shopping over the last 10 years (or more 😉). I've been into bargain hunting my whole grown up life, but I've learned (and shared) a fair few tips here.

Here's to the next 10 years! 🍸

Beautifulsunflowers · 25/08/2024 14:15

Just a word of warning about zavvi - I ordered Lego for my ds last from them last year and it didn’t arrive…..I had to cancel the order and order elsewhere at a higher price.
i think you’d be ok ordering now as it’s ages until Christmas but if you want it sooner or order nearer to Christmas then beware!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 25/08/2024 14:19

My thread baby is turning 11 soon 😱
Can't quite believe it!
We all still have our bargain personalised blankets from Lands End.

Can anyone remember how much they paid for the lock picking kits last year?

Yes. Always Google the Lego set, as there's usually at least one other place selling at a similar price.
