I was in Dunelm yesterday, they had some really nice notepads, journals, pens and planners reduced as low as 25p. I’ve stocked up for teacher gifts and stocking fillers.

MissStilton · 19/06/2024 16:27

@Lisamari99 sorry for the delay- the big grim set is a subscription but v easy to cancel. The others are one off. I’ve used Gruum for a couple of years now as I like their shampoo bars and they are never any trouble to manage.

Dramallama24 · 19/06/2024 17:16

John lewis have a sale on some of their toys at the moment, some sylvanian families 25% off, also had some playdoh, barbie etc, got an extra 5% off from their membership offers page

What age do you think Sylvannian families is good for? Would my 6 year old be too old? A boy if that make any difference!

Summerdew · 19/06/2024 17:51

I don’t know if it was on here or the adult stocking filler thread but hi smile have mystery boxes (flavoured toothpaste etc which is £9 a tube so quite expensive), I bought a small and a medium mystery box for £5 and £10 each, £5 postage and got two flavoured toothpastes, three nice brushes, whitening tablets, a whitening pen and some tooth stickers (which will go to a school raffle), could be nice as part of a beauty advent calendar or a pamper hamper (giving the flavoured toothpaste as a stocking filler to the kids - anything to encourage them to brush better!)

I can only find the large box at £40 - could you possibly post a link to the medium box please?

Logic12 · 19/06/2024 19:17

20% off Mountain Warehouse with the code SHORE

Summerdew · 19/06/2024 19:36

@AllBlackEverything go to the mystery box page (tap the moving banner at the top of the page - assuming on a phone) and at the top you should see different options for xl, l, m and s - directly under the £40 price label.

Hello can anybody help with a birthday gift idea - it’s for a woman in her mid-forties. She loves good quality smellies, dresses, TV like MAFs and Greys, her dog, Chardonnay. Previous gifts that have gone down well Cyberjammies pjs/spa day. Looking to spend around £50 and needs to postable - any thoughts??

gardenmusic · 19/06/2024 21:15

A nice scarf?

Flubadubba · 19/06/2024 21:18

@Slater22 something from here? https://valentte.com/

Fantastic quality, beautifully packaged. Obviously only smells that you know she might like!

I've recently bought a pamper bag gift from M&S for a friend of similar age that was well received. It was £35 and contained mini proseccos, chocolate, candle and hand cream/wash. Plus it was delivered directly so no faffing with posting.

CarrieMoonbeams · 19/06/2024 23:12

Do you think she'd like something from One hundred stars@Sideorderofchips@Slater22 ?

I see them recommended on here all the time, and the short kimonos, some of the tops, the throwovers and the scarves would all be in budget.

Edited as I replied to Sideorderofchips by mistake, but sorry, it won't let me remove your name!

Lidlisthebusiness · 20/06/2024 01:50

I saw on Facebook that the Claire's 3 for £10 will be changing to 5 for £10 today (20th June).

Slater22 · 20/06/2024 05:47

Thanks all - some great suggestions 🙏

Thank you all for the suggestions, I have more Jellycats than I need coming my way😆

@Summerserenite I don't have many left but if any of these help, let me know & I'll pm you.

@sittingonacornflake I think that's the perfect age as they might be a bit more responsible with the tiny food pieces😂 my 5yo boy adores the bakery the most.

I just bought a gift set from aromatherapy associates that’s on offer on Look Fantastic- it’s down to £45 from £75 but sells for more than that in places.
I might have to get me one too!
It’s that sort of indulgence that you’d wish for in a gift.
I’m going school run but will link in a bit.
Also if you spend £50 on AA you get a free shower gel - they’ve got the same ones for £8 on sale.

Summerserenite · 20/06/2024 08:31

This is it.
Its a beautiful gift - might suit 💗

@tabbycat985 thank you! That's exciting. I'll look into those!

Dramallama24 · 20/06/2024 08:54

@sittingonacornflake you could maybe try starting off with a small pack to see if there is any interest, sets with the babies in are usually reasonable, or if he has a favourite animal maybe seeing if there is a matching family, they seem to have a lot of different ones now e.g. elephants and giraffes that might be a hit!

VeruccaSalty · 20/06/2024 09:26

I bought a big sylvanian bundle on marketplace. My boys liked the car and caravan. Also Hedgehog and meerkat families. But that was about it. My 3 year old niece visited recently and she was enchanted with it all. Being parceled up and sent to her this Christmas...

hby9628 · 20/06/2024 10:00

Pandora sales has dropped in price again. There's a snowflake charm down to £13
There's some nice bits on here I think.

Can anyone remember the Fossil crazy discount codes last year? Does anyone know if there is anything similar?
