I had to return the Jamie Oliver book as it was delivered so dented, I can't give it as a present. It came in a non padded envelope so clearly took some knocks in transit. Such a shame.

Ace! Got it for my mum. She doesn't really do gardening now, but it looks like it's more than just a 'how to' book anyway. Better still, I had a gift card, so it was free.

I bought the cadburys chocolate kit half price in Tesco last year a few weeks before Christmas.
My big kids loved it!

This is not remotely christmassy but our hoover has decided to give up! Does anyone have any recommendations and if there's a saving that would be amazing. Thanks

Good find! Pretty much the same price as MSE @Ewock We have this one and it is fantastic.

If anyone spots a good deal on crocs, specifically the ombre, rainbow coloured ones im looking for these as a gift. So far they seem priced around £45 which seems quite steep!

I might do. Got a few other bits to order so could risk it and hope it's put in more robust packaging so it's not damaged.

They have crocs at a decent price on m&m direct but can be a bit hit and miss what styles and sizes they have available.

Not read the full thread so unsure if this has already been mentioned but went into Hobbycraft and they had huge pirate ships and land rovers in cardboard which you colour in and then build, massive boxes. They were reduced to £10 each and looked like an excellent 'big' present for younger children. There were possibly some more girlie ones but I didn't look that closely.

Also The Spicery have slightly damaged 'How to be a Curry Legend' kits in their sale at £17.48. Full price at present is £34.30 and although I know they tend to often have an offer before Christmas I looked back and even with the offer paid £19.90 for one for my dad 2 years ago. It says the tins may be slightly damaged so I ordered one for us to try at home and in has the smallest dent you've ever seen so would have been perfectly presentable as a present.
