@Flubadubba Lego Ninjago dispatch is 3-7 months , are you all chancing it?

Edited

It wasn't for me- due to arrive 11 Aug! (Plus his bday isn't until Spring anyway...)

fishfingersandchipsagain · 03/08/2024 11:39

Asking for bargain hunting help please, although it’s for a birthday rather than Christmas.

I’ve been asked for a Garmin Edge 1050 cycle computer… but it’s £650!!!

I can’t see anywhere stocking them for less, but was thinking about discounts of first order, codes etc. Any ideas?

Hello!
Son has taken an interest in Minecraft so I have been looking at toys.....why are they so expensive??!! Has anyone seen any minecraft bargains please?
To be honest, he hasn't got the game he's heard class mates talking about it so I will get him the game but want some figures or sets to physically play with (and keep him off screens!)
Thanks all!

NoodlesandDoodles · 03/08/2024 14:45

Anyone have an argos code for over £40 spend? I don't seem to get any emails from them

NoodlesandDoodles · 03/08/2024 14:50

Scrap last request, I've re signed up to the newsletter and got £5 off.

Amazon have quite a few Minecraft toys etc. if you you want to get him any clothes then places like Primark, ASDA, Sainsbury’s etc usually have Minecraft branded clothes

Thank you for this, hadn't even thought of clothing! Just noticed that Asda have bedding as well, santa usually leaves a new bedding set each year so that's that sorted, thank you!

@wholetthedogsout

My boys love Minecraft and we've found the nano metal figures are the best. They are indestructible and lend themselves to lots of play.

@Stardustmoon thank you for this! Good to have a personal recommendation, they look exactly what he'd enjoy playing with!

watchuswreckthemic · 03/08/2024 21:40

Any recommendations for a nice alcohol gift for a couple? I've previously bought cocktail gifts but wondering whether to get a wooden boxed gift from laithwaites as I'm already a member so get free delivery

BonaidMhoir · 03/08/2024 21:47

Another vote here for the nano figures, my DS was so chuffed with them

Wine Society often have nice boxes of wine, we’ve used them a couple of times to send boxes of 2 to 3 bottles of wine

VeruccaSalty · 03/08/2024 22:53

Bakugan display figure £4.40 (75% off apparently) on Amazon but doesnt look as fun as the little ones.

I have a £10 off £100 spend at Argos for use by midnight Wednesday if anyone wants it

Cos1970 · 04/08/2024 15:08

Looking for football related presents for an 11 year old boy for birthday and Christmas. I’d
like to get some bits that are more unusual as he has loads of kits and hooks and board games etc already

crikeyisthatthetimez · 04/08/2024 17:03

@Cos1970
Grip socks & sock sleeves are popular for footballers at the moment.
Also cones for practising dribbling or a replacement football they are always in need of new ones

LittleRedY0shi · 04/08/2024 17:34

The Lego Ninjago book is showing a long dispatch time for me too, but Argos are also selling it at that price at the moment.
