Ninja have some offers on

Ninja bakeware is amazing
I bought a couple of trays and a roasting pan. I don't even put them in the dishwasher , they clean so easily .
If you do order , measure your oven first , some a huge .
Abso-bally-loutly non stick !

Off to look at some smaller trays now.....

PlanBea · 03/01/2024 00:04

The Spode website is having 50% off their Christmas Tree pattern. Might be useful for those of us who picked up some pieces from TK Maxx from last year's prequel thread.

I've got a few serving dishes including a chips and dip bowl on the way!

@sorryiasked , thank you for the link to the Marie Curie sale.

It was very easy to spend £40 there to get free postage, especially with the great jewellery bargains, and to support the charity, of course. 😀

Cuwins · 03/01/2024 16:15

If anyone is near a fat face store they had some lovely Xmas bits on sale. Socks, jewellery etc. loads of selection at the Trafford centre. Much more than online.

SomeFiggyPudding · 04/01/2024 07:38

I went into The Works yesterday. I got two rolls of wrapping paper, a Christmas gift planner book and a roll of sellotape & dispenser (including a patterned roll of sellotape) for £1.26!

Doss anyone else feel that the Christmas bargains seem to have disappeared quickly? I’m sure I was buying stuff mid January last year but it all seems to be going/gone. Cannot believe there is a whole aisle of Easter eggs in my
local Tesco 😂

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 04/01/2024 07:46

@SomeFiggyPudding I think many stores reduce earlier now so do it before Christmas itself. Also I think some places pack it all back away in a warehouse and bring it all back out the next year.

Definitely not as many bargains to be had at the moment. I always get wrapping paper for the next year on Boxing Day or 27th and my usual haubts were devoid

Yes good point, my friend went shopping Christmas Eve and said things were already reduced then! Makes me a little sad as shopping the Christmas bargains helps me stretch it out a bit 😂

psuedocream3 · 04/01/2024 09:26

There does seem to be a lack of bargains this year. I'm mostly after stocking fillers, christmas jumpers, wrapping paper, crackers and decorations.

I've done well with stocking fillers so far mostly from Claires and some bits from Smyths on clearance, I've ordered a few bits from Aliexpress too. Mostly stuck for ideas for DD15 and DS3.

Someaddedsugar · 04/01/2024 09:48

Emma Bridgewater has a few Christmas bits in the sale

Partypartypartybag · 04/01/2024 10:19

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads completely agree regarding wrapping paper, I've found nothing! Normally local asda has loads reduced but went in day after boxing day and they had no Xmas stuff at all. Same with Sainsburys.

I want to get something nice for my driving instructor (passed today!)
I know she like wine, anyone seen any good offers on a gift set or something similar?

I forgot about aliexpress. Thanks.

Congratulations @EvilHerbivore

Thank you! I am insanely chuffed as I am very much not a natural driver!

SnowJamz · 04/01/2024 16:46

I’ve used up all my Christmas wrapping paper now. Saw some people post online presents wrapped in blue or green metallic/foil? paper.

Thinking of this for next Christmas.

Has anyone seen any in the shops. Google brought some up on Amazon but very expensive and review say it doesn’t stick very well.

NoWordForFluffy · 04/01/2024 16:49

Metallic paper is generally awful for that issue! Plus it's unlikely to be recyclable, so not environmentally friendly (if you're concerned about such things).

I'm sure they were reusuable foil bags that were mentioned as I liked the idea of them!

We use sweet paper bags - stripy and brown for stocking gifts. Then folded and sealed with a sticker (500 for about £1 on temu each child has a different animal!)

stripeyreds0cks · 04/01/2024 17:10

I've just had a delivery from Poundland with wrapping paper (50p a roll) and I'm waiting on a delivery from The Celebration Store with cards (a lot were 50% off)

Daimyum · 04/01/2024 18:16

Morrisons had their wrapping paper reduced to 25 p, recyclable type. Pack of 3 ,with tags etc, for a £1 in farmfoods, also recyclable type. Also had kitchen rolls £1 for 2 with stars on in Morrisons

@EvilHerbivore , Laithwaites wines have 50% off some of their wines. There may be postage costs involved.
I don't drink wine so haven't investigated the offer.
