What did your DP/DH buy you?

Skincare from brand I haven't used but looks nice

Eyeshadow palette

All nice things and I'm very grateful but what I really wanted was an engagement ring 🙃

What did your DP/H get you?

A nice ring with diamonds and black diamonds. Helped the kids get me earrings necklace and a nice frame with a family picture in. He's very hit and miss!

I got a treadmill a few months ago as my old one broke
On xmas day I got a book, Michael Kors perfume, which I’ve never had before but it’s quite nice, an MK cosmetics bag and an oodie, which, sorry to all those who like them, but I don’t like it, it’s a nasty green colour and I asked for a dressing gown. Thankfully DH got a gift receipt so it’s being returned tomorrow and swapped for a proper dressing gown.

A Samsung gadget to put on my keys to find them (as I lost them everyday!).
Pyjamas and a book (as I do that for the children every Christmas Eve).

Then he filled a stocking with -

Can't remember what else was in there now! But lots of nice little bits.

And Gucci Rush which I needed as have just run out.

DH and I upgraded our phones as our presents to each other.

I was very pleased.

La Vie Est Belle Intensément perfume (he apparently smelled it on a random woman in a shop and asked what it was as he knew I would love it 🤣)

And a football top from our local footy team (and he sneakily borrowed my season ticket to ask in the shop if he could use my discount on it since it was for me).

He also paid for my brow and nail appointments just before Christmas.

We had a good year so I was spoiled:

To those who were hoping for a marriage proposal, may I point out that 2024 is a leap year? We agreed on tiny presents this year as we have rented a rather expensive apartment on the coast for the week and really don’t need anything. I got a very interesting book called The Third Man:Surviving the Impossible by John Geiger. It’s mainly about mountaineers and the strange experience they have when in danger in that they feel as if another person is with them.

A Kitchenaid. Limited edition one with a hammered copper bowl. I feel totally spoilt and can't tell anyone IRL as am too embarrassed to "flex"! Feel so so lucky, especially as we'd said no presents other than Santa's stocking this year!

I love rubies. I'd to see pictures if you feel like showing them.

A beautiful book about simple floristry designs and a voucher for a day class learning how to make a hand tied bouquet. A bracelet with coloured glass stones for ours and dc birthdays, a make your own candle kit where you also make the holder (and dc got paints to paint it for me), and lululemon running leggings and top.
I’d dropped a hint about the flower arranging but the rest was him. Mr Topaz did good, very happy.
