Just had two emails to say my orders are ready to collect. Both quite restrained, less than £25 in total for both.

the gloves have come in a lovely box. I also saw the same gloves in a v posh high street near me for £45. So feel I’ve had a right bargain.
i got the leather bound book for a dnd playing friend, it’s lovely.
and the 3 for a £5 scarves. Unfortunately they will all have to go back as they are animal print and dh utterly despises animal print. Normally I’d ignore his opinion, I can’t in animal print. He will constantly call me bett or mel b.
they are lovely heavy quality and look so expensive.

I have one male teacher or buy for though and I’m struggling for ideas. No chocolate, alcohol or smellies. Around £10 or less preferably. Any ideas?

Thank you so much @grinchfest i ordered little chocolates for my son, nieces and nephews and a box of chocolates for my mum. I just collected them and they’re lovely. They’ll be so happy with them, thanks again x

@Mummypete i have been teetering on the Fenwick offer but that sealed it, went to Amex and no code for me 🙄. Bargain for anyone who does have it though 🎉

The Hotel Chocolate cancellation email is pretty rude TBH

When reviewing your order, we noticed you had applied a restricted discount code to your order, to which you were not entitled.

Like it’s our fault they screwed up 🤔

I thought it was overly stern TBH, and they spelled my name wrong!

I don’t think they’ve screwed up - someone has publicised their staff discount when they shouldn’t have. Not the fault of the business, so I don’t blame them for being pissed. I bet the person who’s code it is will be losing their job.

I got a couple of lucky dip boxes from Vera Tucci. Men/women’s were both hat/gloves/scarf and another thing. 10 scarves were a mix but some really nice ones. Some are just living in the car as breakdown/extra cold days

I made a hotel chocolat order last night and Honey automatically applied the code. No cancellation email yet.
I thought it was a ruse, similar to Candy Kittens last year but clearly not judging from the tone of the email that @HeartandSeoul received

My hotel chocolat says ready for collection, does anyone know how long you get to collect if they don’t change their minds?

Hotel Chocolat - I also had the code automatically applied by Honey. I'd placed my order before seeing the code on here. No email of cancellation yet but I guess that may still happen!

I think Honey works by grabbing codes applied by people who have the app as I’ve noticed when I’ve entered a unique code then gone back to change my basket it’s then put my unique code in for me if that makes sense. If that’s the case it does make it a bit dodgy to use alongside staff discount etc.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but Amazon have the switch version of minecraft legends for 19.99!! I just paid 34.99 in argos!!

Short notice but Salford Lowry theatre have 2 for 1 tickets for selected shows of Fanasically Great Women who changed the world musical with code MTFGW241.
We paid full price and I thought it was worth it, shame they have empty seats.
