This thread title made me think I should make up a 12 days of christmas song for all the main bargains we've got! Thanks@Yalz and @ApiratesaysYarrr for the inspo on the title.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Thank you for HC code just ordered £50 velvetiser which still sounds ridiculously expensive but DS has wanted one for ages & got some boxes for gifts so collecting in store today.
No sign of the Havaianas ordered on 3 for £33 deal ages ago! Anyone else received theirs?

Flubadubba · 16/12/2023 10:00

@stepfordwifey Little Brian paint sticks are fab (and easily Amazon-able for guaranteed delivery)

SootspriteSearcher · 16/12/2023 10:15

Hotel chocolat code no longer works. I almost ordered loads of chocolates and a velvetiser last night but decided to sleep on it. Tried this morning but not working now which is a good thing for my bank balance 🤣

I ordered 10 of the Fenwick wine hampers yesterday and they have just arrived with DPD and a very amused driver.

Last year I spit some of them up and I drank the wine and gave away some of the chocolates .

Which ones were these? I can only see a half price afternoon tea one with some sort of weird fizzy tea and a fenwick food hall one which doesn't look that amazing.

PeoniesAreMyFavouriteFlower · 16/12/2023 10:26

For those who like the sound of the sparkling tea in the Fenwick’s hamper, I’ve found this place. They have 750ml bottles down to £8 from £9, and an automatic 15% discount. You also get a welcome 10% code if you sign up to emails, but they don’t stack. Postage is £4.99 or free over £60. They also have non-alcoholic wines, beers, ciders and spirits.

I just tried the Hotel Chocolat code and it says it is not recognised. Probably a good thing as would have only bought because I thought I was getting a bargain. Don’t really need anything and did get the hamper from Laithwaits for £10 with a referral code.

Ah right I've found the original post. Its a nice gift, but the Chapel down is only £25 a bottle, so it was massively overpriced to start with. I do love Fenwick, but the hampers are honkers prices for what you get.

could you have a look at the best before dates on the food items for me? I was thinking of buying ahead for a couple of spring birthdays….

it wasn't really for a hamper
the wine is £26 and the chocolates £23 so £75 delivered was pretty reasonable in hamper world where markups are usually massive

but £29 if you order 4 or more is pretty cheap - if you drink the wine- and it is a regular tipple here - it is a very nice fizz

I will gift a few. Keep a few as stand by gifts and breakdown them down if I dont gift and break some now down for wine and chocolates.

I feel like I’ve just found the holy grail - a good small / stocking filler pressie idea for difficult to buy for men. Thanks to FB ads I came across Nio Cocktails which look like a brilliant (and nicely presented) gift for the Christmas table or as a gift. Reviews suggest they taste great too, with good customer service.

They’re not cheap but you can get a referral code which helps. I’ve just ordered some for my brother and my husband - both are difficult to buy for so I’m quite excited to have come across something they will both like. I’ve posted my referral code on the other board, which takes a box of six cocktails down to £29.

I did this and am going to split it into two gifts and package up with a nice tumbler each. Not a bad gift for about £20 each by the time it is done.

There’s a lot of different types to choose from and some beautiful ‘postcard’ sets with cocktails from a particular place. These look amazing but more difficult to split up so that’s an idea for another time.

Have you got a referral code as I might order today?

Dee1224 · 16/12/2023 10:51

Some “last minute deals” on Amazon for often discussed items. Apologies I have no idea if they have already been at these prices for a while or if they are new reductions:

X box series X £350
X Box Series S £200
Herd Mentality £16

hby9628 · 16/12/2023 11:00

@Famousthehero thanks for the dairy milk link. I got the big one last year for my kids. They loved them.

Re: Fenwick hampers...has anyone noticed a box that you can send as a gift? I want to send one directly to the recipient so I'd like to add a note/hide the price!

Passthecoffee · 16/12/2023 11:08

Has anyone seen any Nike discount codes for trainers?! I got two pairs with the 25% off over Black Friday and now need another pair. Thanks

RJnomore1 · 16/12/2023 11:13

Fenwick: you can mix and match. I needed two bottles of red wine for gifts so I ordered the chapel down gift box, two of them and a mini Prosecco and got 15% off them. It’s any 4 items in the promotion.

I also put a (very restrained) hotel chocolat order through last night for collection and it’s ready for pick up.

update on fahlo though, they only sent two bracelets, one free, despite the order being for 3 free. Happy enough although I think I will ask about the £9.95 postage to Scotland!

thanks everyone.

Roundthebend45 · 16/12/2023 11:33

Not sure if this has already been posted, but there are some nice Burts Bees sets with a lip balm and hand salve on offer on Amazon which make little stocking fillers of teacher gifts:

Could anyone recommend a good 3d pen for a 9yo please ?

Mummypete · 16/12/2023 11:42

American Express also have cash back at Fenwick. It’s £20 back when you spend £100

risefromyourgrave · 16/12/2023 11:53

Looks like Hotel Chocolat aren’t honouring that code, just had a full refund.

I came on to say the same thing. What if some of those orders are genuine, and their orders have been cancelled?

imnottoofussed · 16/12/2023 12:25

I've not had a refund or email cancelling hotel chocolat yet 🤷‍♀️
