Have you put your tree up yet?

We did it yesterday which is early for me. I went up in the loft, got everything down, stuck the two halves of the tree together and dc decorated it. I usually make a big deal of it but it was easy this year and looks lovely!

No, mine goes up a week before Christmas. I'm always about the last in my street to put one up.

Put it up today under duress from my teens. They did all of it, really, and I watched with a cuppa.

I’m quite pleased now it’s done!

Ours been up two weeks. We would usually put it up the weekend before the 1st dec but we had a party and hosted guests last weekend and were away this weekend so we had to do it a little earlier than (my DH) would like.

Mine has gone up today. Due to my job I'm working at least one weekend day up till Christmas so I took this opportunity to get it done. It's haphazard and doesn't look as well presented as the photos above, but my boys enjoyed putting it up and that's all that matters Smile

Ours went up on the 1st but it’s only a bit taller than our 2 year old so it doesn’t take up much space 🎄

House is fully decorated now. Started last weekend with outside lights and a few indoor bits, and rest was done this weekend. Both trees done and it makes me so happy.

Not yet, but I have turned the white fairy lights that were in situ on and lit the Xmas candle, which with the main light off and a lamp on instead makes it feel quite festive.

Started putting it up yesterday. Lights all tangled. Spent 20 minutes trying to untangle them. Lost my shit and gave up.
Tried again today. Untangled lights. Then tripped over an extension lead plug that some idiot (dh) left lying around. Lost my shit again. So I guess we’re not having a tree this year

Tree is up and one set of lights. I don't like the other lights I got though - they just don't work together. So back to storage unit tomorrow to see if I can dig out some others. I can't decorate it til the lights are sorted! But wreath is on the door and I have some retro fairy lights draped across the back doors to the garden. Must get on with the cards now!

We bought a fresh tree first thing this morning (cut this morning). So we've put it up, in the tree stand...but unfortunately it was pissing down this morning and was soaking wet. We've surrounded the bottom of the tree with old towels and It's dried out some but is still damp in the middle - so decorating it is going to have to wait a day or two.

It's still lovely having the tree up though even though it's just a plain tree so far. And because it's a bit damp the real-tree smell is UNREAL, which I love.

Yes, very early for me, I'd normally happily wait until til end of term!
But the way it's falling means its only next weekend I have with my son before Xmas (as in every other days a school day) so I wanted it up to be able to start feeling festive ready for a few christmassy activities then.

We decorated fake one yesterday and real one is coming next weekend. We put rest of the lights and decorations up as well.

We did ours today while there's still snow. We had a lovely morning sledging then got the tree up and had our first mincepies of the season. Felt so Christmassy. Wouldn't normally do it this early but we were feeling very festive after our run out in the snow.

Mine is getting delivered next Saturday. I usually aims for 12th night. The tree people deliver to my area on Saturdays and DS2 (14) decided slightly early was better than slightly late for that. So this coming Saturday it is.

The toddler chose some dinosaur Christmas lights in Asda today so we’ve decorated the mantelpiece with them this afternoon. Just because he was excited.
