Have you got your tree up yet?

It seems like half of my Facebook newsfeed have already got their tree up. I don't remember it ever starting this early when I was a kid!

No, it’s November.

Ours does not go up till December. Far too early in November for me. A lot of my friends have theirs up but I would get fed up of it before Xmas day arrives.

Mon normally goes up for DD's birthday at the beginning of December but this year she decided she couldn't wait and wanted it up early so it's been up since last weekend.

This weekend for us.
We have planned activities every weekend from now until Christmas weekend, so this weekend is as a good as any, as I like to have it up on the 1st, when the Elf arrives & the advent calendars are opened, but it takes 3 hours in total so I don’t want to be doing it on an evening after work & school.

I’m putting mine up this weekend but without lights or decorations, just to see how the kitten reacts and to give him some time to get used to it before we decorate. I love having my tree up, I would never get bored of it, it always cheers me up.

I've done mine gradually throughout this week, but I'm one of the last in the street to do it! They were all on it by bonfire night!

We normally put ours up on the last weekend in November, so it'll probably go up tomorrow.

Ours is going up tomorrow but only as we are having a big party next weekend for DD's 18th and a) I want it to look festive and b) that will take my usual trimming weekend up, and we don't have any others free before Christmas. I've been slowly doing the rest of the house in the evenings this week too. (I go quite hard on the decs so all in it's a two day job)
