Lemonsmum It's this one. I think I paid around £45-50 for it. It's worth it.

And now I've just ordered 15 teatowels. Utter bargain of the century. The Christmas/ Winter ones are beautiful & make an ideal house gift (with some biscuits/ cake) when visiting over the festivities, as well as being handy to pop in with teacher/ assistant/ workplace gifts. Amazing!

Whoever shared originally, you are a STAR!

I can’t find this. Please can you share? Thanks.

lemonsmum · 11/11/2023 07:04

@Puffalicious thanks I hadn't seen batman I'll add it to my basket to watch price.

These are the ones I'm watching and wishing they will go to the low £30s but I've had them in my basket most of the year and not happened yet 🙈.

@GettingOldWithoutStyle teacher here (EYFS so know the set up you mean). Please don't stess- a box of mince pies and some of those nice cappuccino sachets go down well or mulled wine tea bags. By that point in the year, we are exhausted and those treats at break make all the difference. It is the thought that counts and you shouldn't spend lots of money on these things. We are so grateful for - a kind card or something to share at break time.

John Lewis have a lot of reductions at the moment of between 15% and 25%. I bought a Benefit mascara set for £33.75 (should have been £45). Very pleased!

CarrieMoonbeams · 11/11/2023 02:10

Damn, I missed that. The price must fluctuate quite a bit because by the time I looked, they're now £105.99, with no discount on offer. I'll check it over the next few days because I'd love one of them for when I'm walking the dogs. Not paying £106 when I know there's a possibility it could be under £40 though!

Great bargain though, I'm sure your mum will love it.

I would love one of these too, in the male version for my always chilly FIL. ( And me, cough). The battery pack alone would probably cost around £20! Fuming!!

Joevanswell · 11/11/2023 07:44

Any ideas for a male secondary school teacher beyond the usual alcohol please?

CarrieMoonbeams · 11/11/2023 07:46

I know @friskybivalves , there are loads of others for sale on Amazon at around the £40-£70 price mark, but you have to buy the battery pack separately.

🤞 they'll come back down in price, and you, me and your FIL will soon be wandering about outside with a big red face because we're so hot 🔥 😁

CarrieMoonbeams · 11/11/2023 07:51

@friskybivalves , I've just looked at Amazon again and there's now a 40% voucher available, which would take it down to £63, but I'm not buying it at that price. Looks like they've really bumped up the original price from when the PP posted yesterday evening.

handmademitlove · 11/11/2023 08:05

@CarrieMoonbeams if you put the URL of the Amazon item into camelcamelcamel you can track the price over time to see how much it has varied in the past....

Amazonmulu · 11/11/2023 08:16

I'm going irl shopping this morning to a big indoor shopping centre 🤯 Are there any in store bargains I should look out for?

CarrieMoonbeams · 11/11/2023 08:17

Thanks @handmademitlove . I'd seen people talking about "the three camels" before but I didn't know how it worked. I'm having a look now.

Has anyone used macorner before? A lovely photo tree dec popped up on my FB from them but I've never heard of them before.

Qwerty21 · 11/11/2023 08:43

A word of warning to anyone looking at buying from studio. I ordered after the dog oodie was posted and they've been nothing but a nightmare. Nothing has been delivered, my order suggests that out of 5 items only one will even be delivered, but I've been charged for them all still including £4.99 postage for the one, tiny, item I'm supposedly going to receive. And you cannot speak to anyone at studio for love nor money. There's no phone number for them you can only email or send a FB message and noone responds to them. I would recommend avoiding studio like the plague

Cluckycluck · 11/11/2023 08:44

@Fabricwitch They won't go on offer and they will sell out. I'd be surprised if they have many left. Its usually a sought after product within the pi community.

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 11/11/2023 08:45

@Qwerty21 never heard of them. But they are based in US from a quick search so probably rules it out

Ilovepugs2017 · 11/11/2023 08:46

Thanks @Cluckycluck ! I'll order it now then!

winewolfhowls · 11/11/2023 08:47

My Ulster weavers order arrived and while the tea towels are lovely I am most impressed with the folding shopping bag I bought. The pattern is lovely and it is unusually soft material. It will fit in a really small bag.

SweetPeaPods · 11/11/2023 08:48

I want to buy a yoto player for a birthday mid Jan. do we think Black Friday would be best time to purchase?

Fossil have some great deals in their online outlet. EXCLU30 gives an extra 30% off until 13th. Not valid on smart watches. I have bought a few of their watches and the free engraving goes down well.
