@PopcornAndGummyBears sorry I missed some of your earlier posts but does it have to be taking apart to tinker rather than building from parts?
I had a nosy on that kiwi site for you and came across this headphone building kit. Use code YAY and it have money off but it’s also randomly showing as free shipping, bringing total cost within your £30-£35 budget?

Love reading all the things people are buying. Lots of great ideas. I am nearly done. Waiting for Black Friday deals on Gymshark kit for DD2 but just stocking fillers really left

lemonsmum · 10/11/2023 21:20

@Tealfish my goose and gander sweat shirt is a large I'm a size 12/m it's slightly oversized but not loads. I'd say it partly covers my bum when wearing leggings. Not sure if that's any help

mummyof2boys30 · 10/11/2023 21:23

Can anyone recommend a reflective mens running vest to wear over clothes and also running tank tops. Thanks

lemonsmum · 10/11/2023 21:25

@Puffalicious would you say it's hard enough for an adult or will it be too easy?

I thought I'd get a few people Lego this year but the adult lego I like is out of my budget I'm hoping for some black Friday deals. The Groot is alot cheaper than the other option I have for my brother.

bizzey · 10/11/2023 21:27

I was done last week technically...

Why have I got 3 more deliveries due in the next week !!🤣🤣

Trumpton · 10/11/2023 21:27

@CocoPlum .. thank you.. it’s on my watch list already! 🤞

PopcornAndGummyBears · 10/11/2023 21:29

@Didyeaye how did you get the headphones to add to your basket? When I found them it tells me that they are not available in my country.

Just managed to get the 2 draw, 8L air fryer from Lakeland for £68.
Strangely it let me use my own details as a referrer to get the 15% off.

PopcornAndGummyBears · 10/11/2023 21:35

@WowStart that site is great! I’ve got DH looking at it now to see if anything might be suitable. Thank you!

redjoker · 10/11/2023 21:43

Re the stem toys

Its hard to find things not too caught up in instructions

Maybe this game or a circuit set, there's a
few

Or something more to do with coding?

Didyeaye · 10/11/2023 21:44

@PopcornAndGummyBears oh that’s weird. I took it out of mine to see if it made it available again but it didn’t. Then I had a pop up suggesting it and was able to put it back into my basket. So weird!

if you don’t find anything else I can could but for you to be shipped to you if you like

CocoPlum · 10/11/2023 21:46

@Trumpton I spent way too much time looking for that today as I had forgotten those books! I mostly read them out of order as I got them from the library - isn't it that her mother was a famous ballerina so her grandmother doesn't want her to do it? I had so many memories reading your post!

MayaTheBusyBee · 10/11/2023 22:09

@ZiggyZigAh i have Argos code £6off £60 spend if that helps

MooseyMoo · 10/11/2023 22:14

For the Yankee Wax melt warmer deal … do I also need to buy tea lights (as well as the wax melts)?

Fabricwitch · 10/11/2023 22:15

Does anyone know if the raspberry Pi advent calendars are likely to go on offer? Or sell out? :O

XmasShoppingsister · 10/11/2023 22:32

@MooseyMoo You need a tealight to melt the scented wax. But not for the deal.

Edited to add that you can get bags of tealights from Poundland.

Karlkennedyslovechild · 10/11/2023 22:46

@mummyof2boys30 I don’t think you can beat proviz for reflective running gear.

Chocolateteabag · 10/11/2023 22:58

@PopcornAndGummyBears @Didyeaye
Kiwico looks like it's an American company so if you did manage to order from it, you'd get charged 20% VAT and possibly duty on top?

Which is a shame as the kit looks perfect for my tame teenager!

CuckooMamgu · 10/11/2023 23:01

@PopcornAndGummyBears Have you considered a circuit kit? This one sounds like it has different circuits to make, but there's no reason he has to do the set projects! I know my dc (also ASD) would just tinker with it rather than use the instructions. It says 8+ with adult supervision, the Science Museum website has it listed in the 12 - 16 age range, so might not be too childish.

"Start by creating the 50 different circuits that we detail in the instructions, and you will soon discover how minor changes in wiring sequences can lead to very different results. Learn about different light circuits, the function of resistors and transistors, as well as various ways of switching circuits on and off.
The more complex experiments include an integrated circuit, LED number display, security alarm and a light intensity indicator. You can assemble the spinning LED light and then build circuits to control it and then finally use the knowledge you have gained to build your own circuits."

Chocolateteabag · 10/11/2023 23:02

Though if you change the destination country to the US you can add it to your bag, then change back to the Uk
No idea how much shipping is after that but it's probably going to be over the £30 budget?

Didyeaye · 10/11/2023 23:17

@Chocolateteabag the tax is factored into
the billing.
it was already included in the screenshot I added

Usually just lurk but had to share. Just bought this for my mum there’s a 45% off voucher so it was £38.69

Limited-time deal: CONQUECO Heated Vest Jacket: Lightweight Slim Fit Gilet Coat - Heated Body Warmer With 10000mah Battery Pack, Black https://amzn.eu/d/0nyiOBy

Damn, I missed that. The price must fluctuate quite a bit because by the time I looked, they're now £105.99, with no discount on offer. I'll check it over the next few days because I'd love one of them for when I'm walking the dogs. Not paying £106 when I know there's a possibility it could be under £40 though!

Great bargain though, I'm sure your mum will love it.

lemonsmum · 10/11/2023 21:25

@Puffalicious would you say it's hard enough for an adult or will it be too easy?

I thought I'd get a few people Lego this year but the adult lego I like is out of my budget I'm hoping for some black Friday deals. The Groot is alot cheaper than the other option I have for my brother.

It was for DS3 last year when he was 10. He did it by himself, but was still challenging. I think it could easily amuse an adult, & the character is beloved by all ages. I'll try link% find the Batman Head - that's also brilliant- DS2 got it 2 years ago (older teen) loved building it & it looks cracking on his shelf.

Sorry, I was down a rabbit hole on the ASOS site. I was hours! That site is massive! I did manage to get lots of really great bits for DS2's birthday & for all 3bif my DS & for Xmas & their cousins, as well.as a few bits for DP. They have a great sale on & LOVE gets an extra 22% off all sale.& outlet. I got loads of brands - North Face/ Nike/ Adidas/ Vans/ Columbia/ Jack Wolfskin/ Huf/ Berghaus/Levis

Sone examples: North Face Beanie for £13 instead of £25; Levis tshirt for £13.50 & it's still £25 on Urban Outfitters; Nike gym top £14 instead of £25; Columbia tee £15 instead of £25 etc. Well worth the time if you have teens to buy for.
