On the hunt for a bargainous teapot (to go with my Ulster Weavers tea towel and tea cosy) if anyone has seen one?

Also is there anyway to get Xbox or PlayStation vouchers cheaper than face value?

This one is cute

Clarins have 11 free samples with orders over £45. Might be good for anyone doing advent calendars.

Edited

The Clarins advent calendar is lovely if anyone is thinking of it. My mum was so happy with hers last year

I’ve tried the TOWELS60 is it only on certain tea towels

Hi accesorize has 22% off everything . Some nice stocking fillers or secret Santa.

Also have a request for help. We normally have a real tree but have moved house and have a lovely front window perfect for an Xmas tree but there is a radiator there .
So I'm looking for a lovely bargainous fake tree to go there ! Of course I would love a beautiful pre lit balsam hill but budget can't stretch. If anyone spots any please share .

Thanks

I have had two balsam hill trees and actually, they are pretty underwhelming for the price.

There's the initial "blimey this is easy being all pre lit" novelty, but actually, they aren't that great at all. Luckily though, they hold their value and I sold one that was 3yrs old for essentially what I paid for it. No amount of fluffing the branches stops them looking too conical and perfect, they are lovely fake trees, but for that money I want at least some illusion that it could be real, even from a distance.

We're having a real one this year, but next year, I'll be looking at different brands. White Company ones look ok. Not seen one in the flesh though.

Hi All, would anybody have blue light / student discount for TkMaxx please?
If so could you kindly DM me please.

They have a lot of lovely Gisela Graham decorations online at the moment.

There's no student discount codes on UNiDAYS or student beans I've just checked for you

Elpheba · 10/11/2023 09:43

@Pigeonnoir have a look at werchristmas we've had christmas lights from them and a pre lit tree which is great and much cheaper than the Balsam Hill equivalents. They definitely do deals in november (and January but a bit late for that!)

HELP!
I got DC one of these each last year and they were the unexpected Xmas hit - everyone playing for hours and hours: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TrueBalance-Compact-Balance-Discs-Multicoloured/dp/B088KV76GJ
Does anyone know something similar for this year?

That looks brilliant. Have ordered one for one of the teens. Thank you.

Gyroscope? Mine have loved these before.

XmasShoppingsister · 10/11/2023 09:46

@Yajebbend it's TOWEL60 (no S in the middle) and it works on all full price teatowels

Puffalicious · 10/11/2023 09:47

If you can get out to shops, I picked up a gorgeous Le Crueset teapot last year in TKMaxx- my next door neighbour yelped in delight! It was something like only £20.

I'm looking for a deal on Lego Architecture- New York or anything Lego US themed for DS1 who was in the US all summer. The Bonsai tree Lego from the threads last year went down a storm (and the Adidas Trainer from 2 years ago which I see is more than double what I paid for it!).

Any spots on a bargain would be much appreciated.

redjoker · 10/11/2023 10:04

A few Amazon deals,

Borders Biscuits £3.25
Imperial Leather (4 bottles) £4.80
L'Oréal Men Expert - Gift Set for Men Half Price

If anyone is looking for a wooden doll's house, this seems a very good offer (I think only today): https://www.studio.co.uk/shop/dotd/dotd-see-all/dotd-toys/dolls-house?source=TT05&ch=aw&utm_source=awin&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=76941&awc=1657_1699612144_c44e1d79b3077e5003f0b0d975418adf

Ok this is maybe a weird one…

I’m looking ideas for a 15 year old boy. Spends most of his time playing video games, but also loves taking things apart. Very techy! Doesn't really enjoy being outdoors so nothing sporty. I’d love some kind of sciencey/techy thing but most seem to be aimed at younger kids or are mega bucks. He enjoys the fiddling about with things and figuring out how they work, but isn’t academic so can’t get anything with a lot of intense writing/instructions.

Budget is around the £30 mark.

My niece also 15 recently had a microscope which you could connect to the tv and so see whatever you’d magnified on a big screen. She was obsessed with it and was magnifying anything and everything. I have to admit, I was quite fascinated by it too. I don’t know how much it was but definitely wouldn’t have cost a lot. I’ll ask my sister where she got it/the price if you like.

WidowedMum · 10/11/2023 10:43

@Pigeonnoir I’m obsessive about picking trees, have lost count of the number I’ve ordered and returned over the years! 😳 Shockingly I’ve found the best trees from the supermarkets, my last two have been Tesco and Asda! If you want something grander I’ve seen a lot of posts online about people getting them from jd Williams too, happy hunting!

Crimsonbow · 10/11/2023 10:52

Just a heads up - the Vodafone free socks aren't all Christmas patterns. I've ordered some unicorns that I'll either keep or add to a gift for a friend.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 10/11/2023 11:01

I've tried searching for it on amazon but having no luck, can you link? thanks so much

this was for @XiCi
