Has anyone seen the Stanley quencher 1.2L cups cheaper than £45. I think DN would love one but would like to get it a bit cheaper so I can get her something else to go with it. Ideally I'd like to get her the rose quartz coloured one.

evtheria · 10/11/2023 08:12

PS5 + CoD bundle £409 right now on Amazon
*Edit: Don’t forget when ordering expensive goods to ideally get it delivered to a collection shop/Post Office, so you can verify what’s inside in front of staff.

@Annahh a lovely poster above shared the kids amazon echo dot's at a brilliant price of £26.99 each. They currently still have both the green owl and purple dragon.

Kids Amazon Echo Dot @Argos only £26.99

hiredandsqueak · 10/11/2023 08:17

@EekGoesTheBaby what about this? Buy Haynes Build Your Own Internal Combustion Engine | Discovery and science toys | Argos

I remember seeing your post and wondering if you'd get any replies. It's somethingvid love myself, but haven't bought one yet. Here's a link to a 'best garden wildlife cameras 2023' that was published last month by Gardeners World. Also, Argos has some I believe, but I've still not looked properly myself yet so just sharing what I've looked at so far.

https://www.gardenersworld.com/product-guides/nature/best-wildlife-cameras/

Depends what wildlife you want to record but having worked my way though various expensive trail cams I now use blink outdoor cameras in my garden. Just mount them low down or next to your bird feeders. Perfect for birds and small mammals and way cheaper and easy to connect to the house wifi. I have mine connected to my phone and my Alexa. No faffing about with SD cards either. Trail cams are great for bigger animals like deer but the focal length is often too big for smaller animals. I am an ecologist so slightly obsessive about this stuff.

psuedocream3 · 10/11/2023 08:22

@evtheria Make sure you check your Amazon personalised promo page to see if you have the 15% off electronics to get it even cheaper. Word of warning, there is alot of issues at this time of year with Amazon workers and delivery drivers tampering with one time passcode orders, people have ordered expensive items like these and recieved random items instead.

@Roserunner You can get fake ones from tiktok shop for around £18, but I wouldn't recommend a fake. Stanley have 10% code but minimum order value for free delivery is £50 I think. Many websites exclude the h20 quencher from codes so possibly worth waiting for Black Friday incase.

Thanks @Yalz but they only sell the bubble tea kits in the biggest Tesco/Asda superstores, I checked all local ones who confirmed this and they don't stock them unfortunately. Found that out over half term when they were asking to go out for bubble tea.

Thelifeofawife · 10/11/2023 08:22

I caved and got the wax burner/melt offer…realised I needed a few small gifts so they are perfect

User1775 · 10/11/2023 08:23

HELP!
I got DC one of these each last year and they were the unexpected Xmas hit - everyone playing for hours and hours: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TrueBalance-Compact-Balance-Discs-Multicoloured/dp/B088KV76GJ
Does anyone know something similar for this year?

Roserunner · 10/11/2023 08:25

Thanks @psuedocream3 that's what I've been finding. I think I will hold out until black Friday and see if any offer comes up. I don't think she'd want a fake one.

Can someone please tell me the ulsterweaver tea towel deal. I’m putting code in but saying not valid. Thank you

Annocrates · 10/11/2023 08:40

Hi All, would anybody have blue light / student discount for TkMaxx please?
If so could you kindly DM me please.

They have a lot of lovely Gisela Graham decorations online at the moment.

Roserunner · 10/11/2023 08:42

@Annocrates thank you! I had seen it there but assumed the 10% discount wouldn't work so didn't bother to sign up to the newsletter. I'd tried discount codes on a few other places by this time so was losing the will to live!! 😂

hiredandsqueak · 10/11/2023 08:17

That looks great! It was @PopcornAndGummyBears who was looking for a techy/tinkery gift.

evtheria · 10/11/2023 08:53

JessR26385 · 10/11/2023 06:37

Anyone know how to get a discount on an annual Odeon subscription... I have two to buy 😬😬😬😬

This was what they offered last year, purchasing from 20th Dec... I'd sign up to their newsletter as I'd assume there's be BF deals on too with cinemas needing feet through the door.

Other than that... do you have a bajillion Tesco CC points? 😬

PopcornAndGummyBears · 10/11/2023 09:01

@Famousthehero I love that! It’s exactly the kind of thing DH would love, but the budget is fairly strict (absolute max of £35) because of fairness rules (secret Santa type situation) and recipient has ASD and would I think be likely to disregard the gift as it’s an advent calendar and it’s arriving after advent. Might just get one for DH though!

@hiredandsqueak this is the kind of thing I was thinking of, but seems quite young and a bit childish for a 15 year old. Thanks for the idea though.

@EekGoesTheBaby that might just be the PERFECT idea! I had no idea such things existed! Would you be able to share which one you bought last year? (I can’t guarantee it wouldn’t be used for nefarious purposes, but he lives no-where near me so I might just leave that up to his parents to worry about!)

dancemom · 10/11/2023 09:05

On the hunt for a bargainous teapot (to go with my Ulster Weavers tea towel and tea cosy) if anyone has seen one?

Also is there anyway to get Xbox or PlayStation vouchers cheaper than face value?

Laney79 · 10/11/2023 09:08

anyone know of any personalised free photo card deals? Or £5 calendar deals? I normally try and get these ahead of Christmas but not seen any deals yet!
