I've been getting lots of adverts on FB for Søstrene Grene and thought it was all a bit too good to be true. But I realised we had a store in the nearest city so went today and oh my goodness I was in Christmas heaven.
So many decorations, crafty stuff, baking stuff, wrapping papers, candles and food.
I had the best hour I've had in a long time today and now have a winter themed living room without too much moaning from the bah humbugs I live with.
I know it sounds like I work for them or something but I promise you I don't, it was just so lovely I felt I should share it with any like minded Christmas fiends.

I always go in the Manchester store when I visit the city, it is a beautiful shop and reasonably priced. Very charming

Ooh, I love Sostrene Grene.
They do lovely herbal teas and amazing salted liquorice as well as the household/crafty stuff .

They're opening one in York in a few weeks. I keep getting adverts, and I'm v excited! It looks gorgeous.

I’m desperate to go to a Sostrene Grene shop!

Unfortunately, there are only 2 in London at the moment: Wandsworth and Kingston, which are too far away for me to reasonably travel to. I read today though that they are opening one in Tottenham Court Road, and this should be happening in December - so excited!

Usually go to the one in Chester to have a mooch, but thanks to this thread, I’ve just discovered one has just opened in Liverpool! That’s my morning sorted!

It is a wonderful shop. We're lucky enough to have one locally, I'm always disappointed if I visit and come out with nothing! I love their Christmas decorations, specifically the pottery trees, also the paper trees.

I find their candles good value and they do lovely paper napkins. They also do smaller cocktail napkins which are hard to find elsewhere.

The packs of herbs and spices are very good value.

Love the look of their jams etc but a bit £££ for every day use. Might splurge for Christmas !

It's finally gone online which is probably why it's cropping up more on social media. Not as much available online as in the stores, but will give you a feel for their stuff rather than trek a long way to a store to find it's not your thing.

We absolutely love it, I only used to go occasionally when I visited my hometown but they’ve just opened a new one in our closest town. Absolutely thrilled!

Ooh that is amazing news! DP works near TCR and we love Søstrene Grene.

They do finally sell online now but wandering around their shop is really nice.

I think I must be the only one who finds Scandi aesthetics depressing. Every shop looks the same too.

I do find the aisles quite tight, and a bit of a squeeze when busy - so just as well thar not everyone likes them!

I love them - they have been Ireland for a good while so usually pop in when I am there. I’m very happy they have started an online shop & are starting to expand in the UK.

The prices are very reasonable.
