Starting this in Reastie’s absence. Hope that’s ok.

£5 off a £30 spend at WHSmiths- apologies if already posted. I got the Bonne Maman advent calendar for DH and added a £2 notebook and got a nice Grinch decoration basically for free. Free P&P over £25.

Is this fake?

Yes very fake. Other posters have advised against it. You really don't know what is in these fake products (and beside any teen who really wants a particular brand will not be impressed with a cheap copy)

RudolphTheRedNosedSpaniel · 28/10/2023 18:25

Is this fake?

This is not Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream, it's a knock off version. I would be very wary of ordering anything for your skin from bootleg branded items, you never know what is in them or how it could affect your health. There are lots of offers on the real deal if you are looking currently.

sylvanianflower · 28/10/2023 18:42

Not sure if this has been mentioned before - Sylvanian Store keepers are giving a free sylvanians family with orders over £45

STom2 · 28/10/2023 18:44

Have a free delivery code for cyber jammies if anyone wants to PM me for it. Assume it will work for other accounts but reckon it's a one use code.

RudolphTheRedNosedSpaniel · 28/10/2023 18:53

STom2 · 28/10/2023 09:28

Morrisons code saying it no longer works. Been trying since last night. Boo 😔 To make sure I'm doing it correct, it's a trolley of £40 right? Click and collect. No alcohol. And it's hotukdeals-save14? I keep trying to get Christmas food 😂🎄

This doesn't work for me either

RudolphTheRedNosedSpaniel · 28/10/2023 18:54

Igglepiggleandhisboat · 28/10/2023 09:45

Finally got the Morrisons code to work yesterday. Weekly shop done. Thank you!

Which code did you use?

RudolphTheRedNosedSpaniel · 28/10/2023 18:56

Gracesquirrel · 28/10/2023 10:38

Morrisons code worked for me just now for a delivery order later today - I used mine to get a frozen Xmas Turkey crown, sausagemeat for Xmas and a big jar of Nescafe Coffee. Very pleased with that - thanks for reposting the code.

Was this to be delivered?

DutchTeenyPixie · 28/10/2023 19:05

Does anyone have an Argos code they'd be willing to share please?

Resistanceisfruitful · 28/10/2023 19:10

Argos code for £6 off a £60 spend if useful for anyone?

Sorry if my Asda suggestion didn’t work for everyone. I didn’t realise the missions were different for each user.

However, the star products should work for all shoppers. Worth trying with one single Terry’s CO and then buying more if it tracks!

Anyone got a recommendation for a complete candle making kit for an adult?

NotMeekNotObedient · 28/10/2023 19:33

@LemonFrosting I'm not sure. But for context I've brought for my 2 year old after she loved one I found in the charity shop. She can't really get them in the slots yet but does really like it so I guess she's a bit young.

Hopefully someone with a 4 year old will be able to provide more info.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 28/10/2023 19:43

Does anybody have any tips on the cheapest way to buy, or where to look out for offers on books for a 3yr old... I'm thinking classics like..

Gruffalo, Room on Broom, Stick Man, Tiger who came to tea, etc....

They're all about £4 on Amazon but not sure if there's a deal to be had if I'm buying quite a few

Thank you to anyone who answers x 🎅

GettingOldWithoutStyle · 28/10/2023 19:49

Any suggestions for nice whisky miniatures? My DH loves a tipple and has tried all of the "normal" ones (Glenfiddich, etc ) I'd like to get some miniatures for him of more fancy ones which he could try without forking out for the big bottles to find out he hates it! He really doesn't like peaty, smokey whiskey, prefers Scottish, rum, cherry casks.

Any pointers would be great (and bargains obviously 😄)

Thanks 🙏

Has anyone tried to order from Vera Tucci lately? Remember it from last years thread, and tried to order a 10 pack of scarves. Delivery is £3.50 plus £1 per scarf for delivery, which I think is a bit much? The packs used to be £10 but is now £1 maybe that's why??

Think a lot of these are usually in the 2 for £7 on Amazon. Asda also does 2 for £7 in store. Until end of October you get a spin to win thing in the app if you spend £5- minimum you win is 50p. So you could basically end up with the 2 books for £6.50 after the cash back if you get what I mean (or even less if you won more on the spin thing!)

Or search on vinted for a bundle of eg Julia Donaldson books?

RudolphTheRedNosedSpaniel · 28/10/2023 19:57

Any good deals on nike Air Jordan's adult sizes?

Notherereally1 · 28/10/2023 20:00

I've had a look on the Asda rewards app and on the earn page there are tabs at the top which say 'Missions' and 'Star Products'. The pjs should be under the 'Star Products' tab.

Just had a look & it says same for me although when it calculates postage it’s £3.50 plus another fiver so only 50p more per item?
so works out £9.50 delivered for the mystery pack of 10 scarves…
I never ordered these in the end last year- were they any good?

Definitely have a look at The Works, they usually do sets of the Julia Donaldson books in gift bags for cheap.
please make sure your recepient doesn’t have them though, DS received each book 3 or 4 times as a toddler!

Try Cosy owl (website) they are specialists and I've had quite a few from them. Also sign up for newsletter as they have offers fairly frequently. Usual kit price is around £25ish iirc (full price)

I also noticed there are adults and kids craft kits this week at Aldi. One is a candle kit and knowing the price of the moulds etc as I do, I'd say it was well worth a punt.

Runforwine · 28/10/2023 20:13

@GettingOldWithoutStyle I bough my dh Firefly Apple Pie Moonshine, he likes whiskey I thought this would be something different, he really liked it and asked for more for his birthday. It's on sale for £21 for 70cl on amazon.
