I have the labels on my gloves, one pair with pen marks and one pair without.

I’m wrong about the turtle doves labels.

At most one from each pair has a label on it. The label reads ‘Turtle Doves’ on the outside , but what I hadn’t realised (or had forgotten) is that the same label says ‘Recycled Cashmere’ on the inside.

I’ve ordered some plain black non-cashmere ones from eBay and look forward to whatever arrives.

My 9 year old DS is very into pampering. Does anyone have any suggestions for a gift set that’s ok for that age skin ( his older brother is into the dreaded lynx phase and has asked for that 😩)? His skin does get dry in winter but obviously he doesn’t really need ‘skincare’ yet!

He did love ‘cute’ stuff ( so main asks are squishmallows for example) but ideally not something totally pink ( I know …)

I would put a few things together and make your own set suitable for him.

How about some sheet face masks? You can get various animals, characters and Christmas themed ones. My dd also likes carmex lip balms, my aveena hand cream and lush bath bombs. We have a plug in footspa which she really likes using!

My son liked the body shop green tea bath bombs at that age as they smelled nice but not too sweet and turned the water ‘Hulk green’. They were very reasonable if I recall.

You can remove the pen marks on Turtle Doves gloves, by unpicking them, and soaking them in a little rubbing alcohol. I didn't intend to do this but the black mark really got on my nerves!
