So my pig didn’t arrive and I was originally told that it had been sent so must have been lost in the post, so I could have either a refund or have the item re-sent and it would take another 10-15 days.

I asked for a refund because I didn’t trust them to resend in case it didn’t turn up again. Then I received this email…. I am very dubious as to what is going to turn up and when, and very wary of using Wowcher again.

I followed the link and thought I was buying a pikachu for my son. Instead, all I've bought is a voucher? And alo this has somehow signed me up to a subscription of some kind?. I've never used wowcher before and assumed it was just an online shop. I don't really understand what's just happened.

@BlackFlyChardonnay The voucher you need to redeem to order, same as when you have a gift voucher. There should be a how to redeem section on your confirmation email that gives instructions. I think the subscription is the pop up at the end maybe? Think that got someone else in the last Wowcher thing too but you should be able to cancel fine.

OK I've managed to claim my pikachu but have had to pay additional postage on top of what ive already paid. The subscription is really sneaky as they've debited an additional £4.99 and signed me up for a vip subscription without my knowledge. Im now having to go through a refund process with a chat bot.

Never used wowcher before, and my first experience isn't a glowing endorsement. Hopefully the pikachu is worth it!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a brand new minecraft fan aged almost 5? He's just started the switch game on easy mode (apparently he 'isn't into mario anymore'). Not super into lego. Looking for small things. His grandma has ordered a book he was desperate for in a shop already...

@someaddedsugar Great idea about boosting the gift with extra bits, going to steal that idea. I have had a dispatch email this evening.

I havent read through to see if you've had any replies yet! But my advice as a nursery teacher is go consumables, we get so many things like cups, candles, Christmas decorations and other knick nacks it's hard knowing what to do with them all!

A gift I did a few years ago for my daughters teachers was a christmas card with a scratch card inside. Could end up being the best gift ever 🤣

A box with individual biscuit/sweets/chocolates packets (avoid celebrations etc due to nuts). Some hot chocolate/latte sachets to share in the staff room. Sugar and treats are always welcome especially on wet and cold days! 🤣

A nice hand cream would go down well if you wanted individual gifts. It's a must have especially with all the hand washing we do! Maybe look for unscented or natural ones incase of allergies.

@Blessedbethefruitz - have 2 slightly older DS who both love minecraft. You are lucky as there is so much stuff that is minecraft themed that isn't just lego (and there is a lot of that!) - water bottles, lunch boxes, lamps for the bedroom, fleeces, slippers, onesies,notebooks....the annuals are quite good but probably better for 7+
If you search for monecraft plushie then some of those are cute.
