You could try etsy. I found some stranger things fake lego figures on there as the originals are impossible to find.

Was wondering of anyone could recommend Ghd straighteners? Which ones are best? Original, gold, platinum? There are so many to choose from. It’s for my teenage daughter who just wants to be like her mates. Obviously any discount would help also 😂

Neither DH nor I seem to have the £5 off £15 offer (boo) but £19 is still a good deal and DD desperately needs a new hairdryer as her began to smoke last week so a huge thank you to the PP who posted that wee deal!

What type of hair does she have?

my two dd’s both have very thick, course (one curly the other wavy) hair and get much better results from Cloud Nine straighteners than GHD.

My hairdresser uses GHD platinum and they make my hair which is very fine and a little limp 😞 feel lovely and silky.

She has quite thick hair, doesn’t hold a curl too well. I know the cloud 9 ones are better but she really wants the GHDs as that’s what her friends have. (Have done the whole ‘if your friends jumped off a cliff would you?’) 😂

@CamdenLurker my daughter has thick wavy hair. I did a google search and the ghd max were voted the best for that type of hair so I've bought them. She only wants them to straighten though

I always buy from the ghd website. They usually do an offer of some sort. I got the platinum straighteners in a vanity case with the hairdryer cheaper than buying the straighteners alone. I also got the duet, They have a new customer offer and I went through topcashback

@Hibernatalie on a much earlier thread someone also recommended Snakesss which was available in Poundland for £5. Not sure if they'll still have stock but they did a couple of weeks ago and it's a full sized board game and more expensive elsewhere...

@qate @Magik01 @RainbowZebraWarrior i caved and ordered it anyway, mostly tempted by the Charlotte Tilbury, Trinny and Penhaligons stuff plus the Emma Hardie cleaning balm. In the past I’ve been able to almost pay for the price of the bag from this company by selling stuff I won’t use on vinted, so decided it was worth a punt.

i also think the free diffuser and penhaligons stuff will be suitable for Christmas gifts.

so now I have fully justified my purchase I feel a bit better 😊
