Hi
I ordered the taster pack before Christmas and was one of the people who had the order cancelled.
They sent a £30 e gift voucher but that has been disabled.
I have emailed them and had no reply. I have asked if they are not going to honour the gift voucher just to have my postage refunded and still not a word. I know they are probably closed for Christmas now so just wondering if anyone else has been able to use the gift voucher? Had it cancelled? Heard back from them or has just given up trying?

This is why my instinct is not to trust that this is just a family company struggling with too many orders. They continued selling vouchers well after they got into problems and were failing to fulfil orders. There is no excuse for that.

Has anyone else tried/managed to get a refund via PayPal?

I was also expecting to be able to use the issued voucher from January, but it still shows as cancelled.

I've tried using my gift card today as the email said to use in January but on the checkout page it says the giftcard is disabled. I'll leave till the end of the week and if it still won't work then I'll contact PayPal for a refund. If people don't/can't use the giftcards they sent and don't request a refund they'll make a profit on providing nothing.

So the vouchers are still not working but they are selling the tasting kits again? And some people still think they are acting in good faith.

Tasting kits are pre order only. Annoying that I can't use the vouchers but I've had an email today saying they've got a special January sale with 30% off. So they haven't resolved all the previous issues but are advertising lots more offers.

I’ve got my refunds (tasting kit and case of wine) back via PayPal now. I had to escalate it which is ridiculous as they hadn’t delivered either.

My complaint is a bit odd, as I initially complained because I'd requested a refund (about £26) and after a week, they'd not replied. I raised a PP dispute on the Thursday night. On Friday, I got a dispatch notification which I immediately replied to, telling them that they'd dispatched a cancelled order.

This then wasn't actually dispatched until the Tuesday, so 12 days after I'd emailed to cancel, 5 days after I'd raised a PP dispute and 4 days after I'd emailed to tell them they'd dispatched a cancelled order!

I'd already replaced the present with something else, so just didn't need it (plus, once I'd cancelled, there was no contract to fulfil, as I'd brought it to an end). So I still want my money back as they shouldn't have sent it.

Such a bizarre set of circumstances!

Someone I got a gift voucher for has actually managed to use it thankfully! I'm hoping it actually arrives for them now.

I requested a refund for an order SG cancelled (couldn't fulfil it, I think lots of people had this issue in late nov/dec. I've still heard nothing. Not had a refund nor have they answered any of my emails.

That Facebook message made me really feel for the poor buggers. I'm happy they cancelled my wine and cheese orders - if ParcelForce had them from December 16th and is still clearing the backlog of their deliveries, the cheese would be rancid!

I'm sure they'll get back on an even keel eventually, and will never offer big discounts again.

My voucher is still deactivated. Have messaged them with no reply. If I can't use the voucher fair enough, but they have 3.99 of mine for p&p they never sent.

I did get a refund via PayPal before Christmas and also managed to use the voucher before Christmas but now nothing. I have emailed twice but had no response. It is frustrating. I think they need to issue another update.

I just fail to believe that they SO overwhelmed, that they haven't got to everyone yet. They still haven't responded to my cancellation email from mid-December. Or the PayPal dispute opened a week later. Or another message sent via PayPal. Or the escalation via PayPal.

They're just another bunch of amateurs who are out of their depth, no matter how many sob stories they put on Facebook, whining about the discount codes being used by loads of people (they could have cancelled the code AND orders as they came in).

Still waiting here too - scrawlrbox however have re-sent the boxes I ordered and they arrived today - much better way to deal with things (and they kept me updated and responded to emails!)
