Got dd a nice tshirt.

winterscene · 22/11/2022 22:17

Thanks for the heads up that after eights have dropped to £2 - I only needed one box and Amazon has stopped notifying me of price drops in my basket.

Can anyone recommend any nice tasting but reasonably priced marzipan fruits that I can buy online please? I’ve seen a nice box for £15 on Amazon but it seems a bit pricy - I paid less than £9 for the same box a few years ago.

Ness1234 · 22/11/2022 22:18

Iru Bru on Amazon. £7.50 for 24 cans

Onceuponachime · 22/11/2022 22:19

are sainsburys not doing nectar double up vouchers this year? Tesco clubcard double up vouchers?
i save them up all year for Xmas time and have heard nothing this year. I’m sure I did it last year 🤔

I’m a bit behind so sorry if I’ve missed it but just wondering if anyone has a better deal on a dry robe type coat than £110 (not including the primark version) thanks

Not a deal but this one is £99 and can recommend - the sleeves are full length which is good.

Charlie Mcleod are good, and a lot of people wear Moonwrap too. Wiggle usually has a selection of brands.

lightisnotwhite · 22/11/2022 22:25

Not for everyone maybe but Glasses Direct are 50% off glasses AND on £49+ frames you get a pair free.
DH has varifocals that he pays a fortune for so has never had a pair of prescription sunglasses. So I thought great present for the man that has everything.

I got him a pair of varifocal sunglasses and a pair of distance back up specs for £67.

I have a Tom and Jerry top Zara age 6/7 new with tags if anyone wants it. Current stock, I was going to link but my link was huge! Purple with them both on the front and a massive Jerry on the back.

I think Sainsburys stopped doing the double up last year?

EvilHerbivore · 22/11/2022 22:29

Can anyone suggest an advent calendar for a 12 year old boy?

Not Lego, he's had that the last few years and says he doesn't want it again this year

Loves Rubik's cubes and puzzle type things, not into sports

Potentially a foodie one but not degusta (someone else in the house has that one)

MadeForThis · 22/11/2022 22:34

Got the Beer52 advent calendar. Was worried it would be a subscription but it appears not to be.

1stTimeMama · 22/11/2022 22:39

I'm after some nice pyjamas for my Mum(72). Wide leg jersey trousers with 3/4 or long sleeved top, preferably a pretty pattern. Everything I've found is short sleeved, flannel or brushed and it needs to be cool as she gets so hot. Has anyone seen anything, or could suggest somewhere to look that I might not have tried?

Beautifulsunflowers · 22/11/2022 22:42

@EvilHerbivore my ds has had the naked marshmallow advent calendar for the past 2 years and it’s been great!

1stTimeMama · 22/11/2022 22:42

@EvilHerbivore how about an escape room one? Exit Adventure Advent Calendar

Sturmundcalm · 22/11/2022 22:43

@EvilHerbivore we got (22yo) DD an Exit the game advent calendar last year which she did like. it's escape room type puzzles

Yes, 2020 was the last one. I loved Double Up!

mamabluestar · 22/11/2022 22:53

@user143677433 yes, they're the ones we have

Onceuponachime · 22/11/2022 23:11

I lust after Hush pyjamas. Lovely designs but quite pricey.
