Thank you to the posters who recommended weighted blankets last thread, I'm investigating the Dunelm and Debenhams ones.

I'm thinking of setting up a Beer52 subscription for my DDad this Christmas, but am a bit worried about PP saying it is a nightmare to cancel.

Are there any other beer subscriptions out there, that are decent? Or, what do I need to do to cancel Beer52?

I'm after some nice pyjamas for my Mum(72). Wide leg jersey trousers with 3/4 or long sleeved top, preferably a pretty pattern. Everything I've found is short sleeved, flannel or brushed and it needs to be cool as she gets so hot. Has anyone seen anything, or could suggest somewhere to look that I might not have tried?

Mint velvet 20% off with BLACK20

Thank you!!!!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 22/11/2022 23:43

@1stTimeMama I really like gifting the traditional silhouette jersey pyjamas from George at Asda. They drape really nicely and look much more expensive than they are. There aren't many patterned options at the moment but, depending on the size, you need there may still be some of the navy blue initial pocket ones or this pretty soft pink pair, these sage green relax print ones and this very sweet heart pair in a festive red are all available. There's 20% off clothing orders over £25 for Black Friday so you could snag a bargain if you need any extra bits.

Yalz · 22/11/2022 23:45

@Shootingstar2018 , thank you so much for posting about the Weird Fish sale.

With the EXTRA20 code I’ve bought a couple of organic cotton jersey dresses for less than £12 each, with other designs at under £14.

Free postage over £50, and it let me choose between Royal Mail and Evri. Free returns , although they there could be a 15 day delay on that as they are so busy at the moment.

You just have to call them to cancel. Was about a 10 min wait on hold. Offered a discount on the next box if I stayed. Was happy to cancel when I said no thanks.

@1stTimeMama* try Cyberjammies for cotton pretty printed pyjamas, they also have a sale section

TheGriffle · 23/11/2022 00:13

You can email to cancel Beer52. I got a cheap subscription but only wanted the one box, went through the cancellation page and it said to phone but I bobbed them an email and they cancelled my subscription straight away for me.

Yalz · 23/11/2022 00:25

FATFACE has quite a good sale, too.

Free postage over £50, sale returns within 14 days.

PeeJayDay · 23/11/2022 00:31

Sainsburys did a double up in April 2022. They called it the big points swap.

I doubled up £50 worth to £100 and it was much better because you could spend on groceries. I stocked up on cleaning goods and washing powder!

Hoping for another one very soon!

PeeJayDay · 23/11/2022 00:31

I had a nightmare with beer52 but it was a few years back. They wouldn't take no for an answer.

Notlongnow1 · 23/11/2022 00:48

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh.

Chocolate rage is real.

Yalz · 23/11/2022 00:51

Chocolate at £3:35. I’ve tried and tried but can’t place an order. Now I get this message.

Someone has managed, though, as it went down gradually from 9 to 2 in stock.

There are some beautiful pyjamas half price at Night. They’re a little like Chelsea Peers. I’ve ordered at full price and loved them so they’re a real bit of luxury for bargain Xmas presents.

@Yalz ditto. Saw it go from 13 to zeroover 20 minutes but failed to checkout!

Robstersgirl · 23/11/2022 01:22

Good evening! The D&D set above looks perfect for my DSIL but Amazon won’t let me check out with it!

Has anyone got any tips for ‘Goth clothing’ on the cheap please? DD14 has just decided she doesn’t like Barbie Pink anymore. She loves Killstar but the prices are huge. TIA

Notlongnow1 · 23/11/2022 01:45

Just got 3! At £3.83 each this time but I stil feel like I am going to sleep victorious 🤣

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2022 01:57

I think Amazon might be glitchy tonight (and mean about releasing Dairy Milk bars) because I've had several tech error messages or instances of the page changing/my basket losing items.

Robstersgirl · 23/11/2022 02:00

CoffeeAndEnnui -
Thank you, must be all those chocolate potential buyers. We’ve broken Amazon. 😂

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2022 02:03

bizzey · 23/11/2022 03:31

bizzey · 23/11/2022 03:35

Added an extra for me .
PP Is free hopefully.

bizzey · 23/11/2022 03:38

( I have adult children!)

AlbertCampion · 23/11/2022 05:04

Omg after days and days of trying, I finally get 3.41 chocolate in my Amazon basket and it won't let me checkout. Think we have actually broken Amazon. 😳 I am lying here at 5am in the morning with DH fast asleep beside me, pressing "check out now" like some kind of demented chocolate monster. What have I become?! 😂
