Whoever was looking for crackers - Aldi has Guess Who, Cluedo and another one. Think it was 6 for £6 or something

What’s my best bet for an Urban Outfitters gift card? Do I need to pay full price? I hate when people request gift cards, shopping around for the best deal on a gift is the best part 😂

14 already!

How far did we get last year?

Think it was about 25. The most we ever had. It tends to speed up around Black Friday then calm down / stop in early to mid December as most folk are done.

Myleakycauldron · 22/11/2022 20:29

Chocolate £3.35 - finally got it! Got one for us and one for the school.

Sleepdeprivedzombie · 22/11/2022 20:30

Meat kit from Amazon for hard to buy for man, or anyone who likes meat really. Was £24.99, down to £15

@Choccymumma This is the thing I'm talking about. We now need to pretend to be really pleased for her. Despite the fact that we've been pressing refresh on our browsers like trained pigeons for the last 355 hours. And only popped to the toilet briefly.

If someone had offered me a £5 saving for the literal hours of work I've put into trying to get this chocolate bar, I'd have turned them down. But now I can't stop.

The Choccy Hole of Death.

Tequilamockinbird · 22/11/2022 20:36

My hair milk came today, can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

Missed the chocolate for the thousandth time today but bought 3 After Eights instead. I didn't even know I needed hair milk, chocolate or After Eights until I started reading these threads Grin

Thank you for the Body Shop help...

Place your bets now please ....
Am I going to just buy for that friend or are some extra items going to be added for ME !!

BadgerFace · 22/11/2022 20:59

I promised myself I would stop checking for Dairy Milk. Bought three packs of After Eights. Lasted less than 24 hours and now I’ve just checked again…. Gah, bloody chocolate bargains! I already bought DH this bar in November (and last year) I don’t need anymore chocolate…!

In more positive news, many thanks for the Beer 52 advent calendar tip/link. DH will be very happy. He’s currently very jealous of my H&B calendar and my Degusta calendar!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 22/11/2022 21:02

Just reposting the fan set offers for those who didn't see them on the other thread. Amazon currently has a further 40% off the already reduced prices of some nice geek-friendly/fandom-friendly gift sets and stocking fillers.

This D&D Gift Set is £10.14 rather than the £24.99 it usually retails for and similar sets are available for Peaky Blinders, Wonder Woman, Magic the Gathering and more if you click the 40% offer link and scroll through.

Price automatically adjusts at checkout or when you hit Buy Now. These are Prime items but an earlier poster said Amazon is charging tonnes for postage to Northern Ireland so make sure postage is free before buying.

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin I bought my kids the ones from hiturbo on Amazon. They were £60 ish. They are a bit thinner than dry robe but just a big and warm.

Yeknom · 22/11/2022 21:07

Beautypie have free delivery if it's of any interest. Some of their products are super!

LemonFrosting · 22/11/2022 21:08

@Blessedbethefruitz You asked on the last thread what lego I have stashed!

Well, i bought a big bundle off ebay that's got a bus and bus stop, forest cabin/house, another 3 in 1 creator house, some batman lego and a cave thing. Then I've bought a fire station, a city 60292, Pizza truck to go with the city (as its got a pizzeria, well someone's got to make the pizza deliveries!!), ice cream truck that I actually got from this thread last year! Also the megalodon 42134 from a few weeks back, another little ice cream truck and police car set, birthday cake 40382, cupcakes 41926, some Cars sets off ebay, the mario/luigi/peach starter courses with interactive figures which I bought off ebay for a bargain price, a service station 60257, extra road plates too. Oh also 2 spider man lego sets.

Flippin eck, that's alot of lego!!!!!!😱 To be honest some of it will go away for next year. Also his birthday soon. I bought two boxes of lego too but these will now be gifted to others.

Phew, got called into a last minute meeting, came back to link the beer advent and you'd all moved on 😨Thanks @Elpheba for sorting a link.

Also didn't get a chance to thank everyone who replied to my request for activities in the SW, some fab ideas that I will be researching further tomorrow. Much appreciated 🎅

Checking in xx

Twinningaround · 22/11/2022 21:13

I’ve been asked to get plastic farm animals for DN but I know most of the big tubs of them aren’t that great quality, could anyone recommend any that are nicer? Thanks 😊

Puffalicious · 22/11/2022 21:16

I am now officially the GOAT (greatest of all time, dontcha know😂) due to this thread. I twitched and ordered an Oodie from the Everything site - £17.99 delivered even though I was dubious about what I'd get. Thought whatever I'd get could go to teen niece/ friend even if wasn't great. Was shocked to get a seconds Oodie. Can't see anything wrong with it at all.

DS18 now has a plan that we'll remove the label from my original Oodie and carefully swap it with the half cut off one on the one we've just received, tie the Oodie ribbon round it and pop in the bag! Ta-da his girlfriend gets a new Oodie for Xmas for under £20! He's a skint student, so he's well chuffed!🤣

Go MN! Go Xmas threads!

Fancyateapottea · 22/11/2022 21:18
