ChutneyTheChimp · 24/11/2022 11:00

@redjoker I am looking for Kirby and the Forgotten Land for Nintendo Switch. Hoping there might be a Black Friday deal. Thanks!

usernotfound0000 · 24/11/2022 11:02

@redjoker I'm looking for slippers for DH! He likes Mahabis but loathed to pay that price - unless you can find a deal? Best I have is 15% off new customers. Or open to a good alternative. Thank you!!

Onceuponachime · 24/11/2022 11:05

Lego jigsaw, 1000 piece minifigure version
£10.19 lowest ever price at amazon

redjoker · 24/11/2022 11:06

How about these as a close alternative? DH has some and they are great. I think I have a 10% off code somewhere too.

redjoker · 24/11/2022 11:07

@usernotfound0000 Would you consider the John lewis knock offs?

redjoker · 24/11/2022 11:10

@Athlebad HyperX CloudX Stinger Core - Official Licensed for Xbox, Gaming Headset £12 (above)

But also looking at non Amazon ones now for you (sorry was out and about when I saw your post!)

Sisisimone · 24/11/2022 11:13

Startuplife · 24/11/2022 10:00

Thank you. It’s £40 on ASOS plus an extra 15% off so I was hoping to find it a bit cheaper than JL. I might just have to pay the £40 at Amazon

The 15% off takes it the £34 so have just nabbed one for myself. Thanks for posting. I would probably have bought the JL one so has saved me quite a bit

Ooh thank you! These look great and pretty sure I've a gift card knocking around with some cash left on it! Thanks so much!

paintyhands · 24/11/2022 11:17

Oil diffusers - can anyone help? There are a few out there with a discount but which are the best and what’s the difference between the cheaper ones and the pricier ones? I have a couple of basic ones myself and they’re okay, but is a more expensive one much better?

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 24/11/2022 11:18

Certainly not a bargain per say but if you were looking to buy Dior items and there aren't any good codes/gifts etc around then if you go direct you get next day delivery free, x 2 free samples in every order and the packaging is gorgeous. Zoom in on the gorgeous illustrations!

The main item came in a little fabric pouch and you can personalise a gift card. The inner packaging is shredded Dior paper, almost like ribbon.

Oh and you can post direct to recipients and it's DPD so very easy to leave safe place instructions.

WhyDoesItAlways · 24/11/2022 11:19

@Someaddedsugar I've used your Matalan code for Christmas PJs and a coverless duvet - thank you. It actually took me below free delivery so I added on next year's Christmas PJ's for DS for only a couple of £ more so I'm now super organised too!

Teen dd wanted a name necklace my dh ordered from here they have Black Friday discounts and with code FIRST15 it takes a further 15% off. Very proud my training has paid off and dh looks for additional codes.

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 24/11/2022 11:28

Amazon have some skincare gift sets in their Black Friday sale, Nivea, Simple, Dove so not high end but still nice. I've linked to a couple but there are quite a few, just got my 8 year old a shower one for £8 because she's asked for "skincare" 🤦🏼‍♀️

simple

Nivea

WhyDoesItAlways · 24/11/2022 11:29

@ThatshallotBaby the chocoloney calendar is £12.99 on Amazon now with delivery by the 1st.

I'm going to do MYO as I can get 40 minis for £10 at Sainsbury's so there will be loads left over which is a bonus!

user143677433 · 24/11/2022 11:30

Only peripherally Christmassy, but I’m looking for a bargain on rugs. Medium sized for living room, runner for hallway, internal and external mats. Any particular sales or discounts I should be aware of?

I though matalan but couldn’t see anything I liked, and the last one I got from there was not great quality (more like a cutdown carpet with raw edges)

Tequilamockinbird · 24/11/2022 11:31

AFFBF10 gives 10% off when you spend £70 at Boots and stacks with other offers. Doesn't seem to work on electrical but does on beauty, perfume, baby etc.

snowmanshoes · 24/11/2022 11:39

Had my popcorn calendar delivered from bro and they’ve sent me a 20% off discount code ADVENT20

snowmanshoes · 24/11/2022 11:39

From Veo not bro 🙄

MaltbyMaeve · 24/11/2022 11:45

Hello all, thanks so much for these threads which are definitely my Christmas happy place!

I wouldn't normally ask this type of question but I'm struggling on this one - we have a family of Ukrainians staying with us at present. I have sorted two of them (the mum and daughter - find them a lot easier to buy for!), but there is also a 12 year old boy who is staying with us. He seems to have hit puberty since arriving with us and spends a lot of time in his room - he originally liked lego but doesn't seem so keen any more. They have been through a lot and their Dad is fighting in Ukraine so I would obviously like to spoil them but I'm just stumped. I'd be very grateful for any ideas.

buckeejit · 24/11/2022 11:49

@Startuplife there are some new in eBay for a bit less

@shinny we love ticket to ride - youngest is 9 & she's ok with it

@paintyhands the aromatherapy associates is best as it doesn't use water but only good for essential oils - if you wanted to use fragrance oils like the white company ones, you'd need one that uses water - they're all kuch of a muchness
