@shinny As an adult I really enjoy ticket to ride. It's too strategic for DS (6 in Jan) to play by himself but he likes to go on a team with one of us and the other leaves the room so they can discuss strategy. He does, however, thrash us at Carcassonne quite regularly and needs no help with that. So I'd say Ticket to Ride depends on the age of your kids.

Has anyone seen the family edition of What do you meme cheaply? DS2 has asked for it and I'd love to get him playing more games with us as a family but he can be quite fickle with what he enjoys so don't want to spend too much on what could be a one time wonder for him.
