Thanks@TheGirlWhoLived but it was AirPods I was looking for. Although I'm sure my daughter would also like the AirUp bottle!

ChristmasCwtch · 22/11/2022 12:47

Thanks for the calendar code @Justhereforthechristmasthreads

Perfect for adoring grandmother 😂 I agree with a PP that I wouldn’t want a niece and nephew one!!

BloodyMabel · 22/11/2022 12:52

@Letthesunshineonin john Lewis have a lot of different crackers this year, I like the fairground theme ones which you use to play a game. They also have cookie cutters and ones that make up a xylophone.

Thanks for the calendar code @Justhereforthechristmasthreads third year I’ve ordered, they’re lovely quality for the £2.99

PSA - I know people like to give photo calendars but as a recipient of nice and nephew ones they can be so annoying to receive. I don't want a massive calendar and even if I did tbh I want to choose one with designs I like
We usually get them for all the grandparents/great grandparents. Last year we didn't and more than one set of grandparents were disappointed and specifically asked for it, so I ended up buying them one in January. And my mum made her own. We are doing them again this year 😂
I wouldn't want pictures of nephews and nieces or friends kids though, maybe it's just a case of knowing your audience?

CakeCrumbs44 · 22/11/2022 13:02

I couldn't get the free easel calendar to work, I think because I had one last year. That's fine though, I still ordered their normal A4 calendars as they worked out at only £8.99 each which is good value (I usually spend around £15 for a photo calendar). I also got an additional 10% off with the code EXTRA10VIP which essentially amounted to free postage.

notafruit · 22/11/2022 13:06

Did anyone else order the MAC black Friday deal? (£59 for £140 of cosmetics). Mine turned up today and it's not the deal, it's the advent calendar. Costs £155 and over £400 of cosmetics. Obvs I'm not complaining, but was wondering if anyone else had the same.

DaffodilsInAJamjar · 22/11/2022 13:23

Another Lakeland code, if anyone can use it

Thank you very much for the cracker suggestions. I’m off to look at them all now.

There was discussion, maybe on the last thread about diy comic book making, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

ChristmastimeMummydrinkssomewine · 22/11/2022 13:39

@Needtostartover thank you for sharing, just got two lots of insoles for the chilly folk in my life!

Threeboysandadog · 22/11/2022 13:40

3D lights

I saw these lights on £5 stuff. I don’t know if they are any good but noticed Amazon had the same in their Black Friday sale for £15 ish. Probably want more than one thing though to justify the postage.

Rubyroo73 · 22/11/2022 13:42

Bit niche, but my daughter has asked for a 'book nook' kit. Can anyone recommend one that they have had before? Thanks!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 22/11/2022 13:52

@dramalamma that's ridiculous postage, how naughty! Between the D&D one and the Magic the Gathering version I've ordered six sets (at various points overnight and this morning) and all have been free Prime delivery. Can you raise the cheeky charge with customer service?

loka · 22/11/2022 13:53

Could anyone recomend beauty/make up advent calendar for DD13 who is begining to show an interest in make up please.I dont use make up and dont know what to look for but Im sure my DD would really like one.Cant spend too much on one so hoping to get a good deal somewhere.

Needtostartover · 22/11/2022 13:56

@ChristmastimeMummydrinkssomewine You are very welcome. I ordered the same last year. Gifted one and kept one for myself that I never did use…off to look for them 🤣

Does anyone have any slim & edgy teens who I could gift these trousers too? Size 26 waist & super skinny leg. I’ve found a box of my old shop stock & I don’t think any of the very conservative charity shops around me will appreciate them😂

@Cockle1234 my Degusta is the same 30th November to 6th December. Fingers crossed it doesn't arrive on a rainy day.

Does anyone know of any free delivery codes for Smiggle, please? £5 for one item hurts!

Thank you for the lakeland code @DaffodilsInAJamjar I used it to get MIL a hamper! Along with a trip to Kew via the cheap buy a gift code from a few threads back, standard grandkids calendar and some posh tea, she is done!

IndigoTinsel · 22/11/2022 14:29

Would any kind posters be willing to PM me a blue light card Laithwaites code please? Id be very grateful. Grandparents not travelling for Christmas this year so wanted to send them something to enjoy before we get to see them!

FilthyforFirth · 22/11/2022 14:33

Absolute bargain klaxon!

I took a punt on this Kylo Ren outfit for DS from PoundToy. It is down to £3 in the sale and BLACK50 takes it down to £1.50!!

Mine arrived today and I am so impressed for the price. It isn't deluxe but a good costume. Great for any Star Wars or dressing up fans. It says age 5-6

I think there is £20 minimum spend for free delivery but it is 50% off the whole site. I got some other stocking bit.
