Myleakycauldron · 18/11/2022 13:03

For people with chocolate success, did you go by the app or the website? I've seen the price a couple of times but never been able to get it to add to my basket! Want one or two for school fair!

polmnlj · 18/11/2022 13:07

@Myleakycauldron I wasn't interested in chocolate offer but out of curiosity I tried on app. The offer was there and it added to the basket and I could check out. Now I need another one for dd....

coldcoldcolda · 18/11/2022 13:13

Cadburys worked on app but not on browser for me

MarshmallowsOnToast · 18/11/2022 13:15

Checked in Tesco, Morrisons & B&M for Tiramisu flavour Baileys but no joy. Sad

Still to try Costco as previously suggested but I don't have a card so can't check for a while.

Anybody seen any elsewhere??

Thank you!

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 18/11/2022 13:21

think these threads are rubbing off on me, just 'argued' with Moo {printing company} over justifying the cost of their business cards and got £10 off!

want to get a lava lamp for DD but the 'original' amazing Ines are £60 upwards... that's not my budget unfortunately. John Lewis has some for £30ish and I thought surely they'd be okay but the reviews are a bit hit and miss Anyone know where else? or have a JL one and think its just fine? Bit worried about them getting overly hot!?

We bought DD a lava lamp from Argos a few years ago for around £20. Still going strong!

kateandme · 18/11/2022 13:25

I'm looking for a small donkey toy to go with a donkey adoption. Saw the jellycat one but really looking for something cheaper. Anyone help?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 18/11/2022 13:33

The drop store have got a couple of decent alcohol deals (not as good as previous years)
There are 12 miniatures for £12 and this gin

I started a separate thread for help, but then realised as I’m after a bargain maybe I’m better asking here! Hope no one minds.

DS10 has put a “gaming laptop bundle” on his Santa letter (he’s on the edge of still believing, probably his last year). I have no idea what games he’d want to play, currently he plays Minecraft/ roblox/ Fortnite on his switch. I’ve seen some laptops marketed as gaming laptops around £230, or refurbished around £180 which I could probably stretch to. DH says these aren’t good enough for gaming and would be a disappointment, and that anything useable would be around £700: no way I could even nearly afford that! Is DH right? Do I get him a cheaper laptop anyway? He’d probably also use it for coding, assuming that it could do that…. Can anyone let me know if what he wants is possible within budget, or better still share some links?
Hes also asked for a fire stick, but doesn’t have a TV! Would that work in a laptop?
If not I’m back to the drawing board as his only other request is pet rats 😂

Gaming laptops are big money. We have ordered on from very. Reduced from 1049 to 799. Then used 20% off sign up free. Even when we where looking at full priced ones around 600 reviews not brilliant

Myamoth · 18/11/2022 13:39

@buckeejit I have been doing more research into this than I should, it's rare to get more than £50 off and/or an extra game, but you could try the "catalogue" type websites for non-specific discounts - I've just bought the 256GB version from Very, it was £499 everywhere, but Very have a offer on of 20% off your first order if you open a credit account with them, so I did that and it worked - £100 off which I was pleased with 😁You don't have to use the interest free credit if you don't want to, just buy it with that and then pay it all off afterwards.

slithytoveisascientist · 18/11/2022 01:20

I got my dog oodie and it’s definitely an oodie, no extra packaging though.

I want to gift it, so I was wondering is there anyone here who got the oodie ribbon or bag who aren’t using them, if they have kept them could I please buy them and pay for postage? TIA.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing! I'm lucky to have the ribbons and a bag from my Oodie purchases last year. I'm really, really surprised it's an actual Oodie. No idea who I'll give it to, problem one of my nieces who won't care if there's no label.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 18/11/2022 13:41

I got my chocolate today. I had gone via the website but it took persistence.
It doesn't seem particularly smashed up.

usernotfound0000 · 18/11/2022 13:41

redjoker · 18/11/2022 13:43

American candy surprise boxes from the tiktok shop are good for those looking. If you have the app just put in £10 American candy surprise box then hit shop and scroll to the one that's sold 7000+ there's also free delivery vouchers.

Iv managed to save quite alot buying things from the official tiktok shop on make up and things my girls wanted. Made by mitchel make up shop is cheaper than his website, beauty bay pallettes were cheaper. As long as you make sure it has the official banner its well worth a look for things and I have 30 free delivery vouchers. And money off vouchers also.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 18/11/2022 13:56

@boobybum

That's brill thank you. If I can't find it in the shops I will consider buying online (postage is so high though!)

Cheers x
