I don't know what to get him.
He doesn't like stuff - no gadgets, posters, jokey gifts.
He doesn't drink
Is vegan so no food products
He doesn't have any hobbies really.
Things that have been a success in the past are a laptop tray and headphones.
I need help!!!

Won't help your DH OP, but for anyone else, my DH had a favourite gift last year! He's into DIY, and loved the £3.50 telescopic magnetic lifter tool from Screwfix.
😀

Stealing this! Great idea!

Vegan walking boots. There is a place in Brighton that sells them. My dh buys his shoes, belts and walking boots from them. They are very pricey though.

Grow your own mushroom kit? Maybe a less common variety.

If he likes walking I’d buy him a dog so he always has a friend to take with him.

TragicMuse · 13/11/2022 12:03

I have similar problems.

Mine is vegetarian, doesn't wear jeans, or anything blue. Doesn't do gadgets at all, doesn't really have hobbies, isn't having the standard midlife crisis and getting into vinyl (we still have all ours, and my record deck from the 90s!).

He is also really tall so clothes shopping has to be from specialist shops because his leg length is to long for high street shops. But he's picky about clothes and doesn't like a lot of things. He doesn't wear trainers. Or v-necks. Or t-shirts.

He likes his football team, music and brutalist architecture!

Umbrellasaregood · 13/11/2022 13:08

@TragicMuse brutalist architecture map of London?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/11/2022 13:16

He definitely wants a present, he was bit annoyed that I didn't make more of an effort for his birthday.

I have asked and he's says he doesn't know.

...to which the answer is 'Well how am I supposed to know?!'

Give a donation to a charity on his behalf.

ANiceBigCupOfTea · 13/11/2022 14:31

If he loves walking, what about a nice pair of walking shoes or outdoor trousers or coat?
My mum is vegan and there are various vegan chocolates she really likes which are called Booja Booja and they do lovely gift boxes. Do you have a local vegan food and living festival nearby? Maybe he would like tickets to it if you do

WhyWhyWhyMum · 13/11/2022 14:40

Won't let me link, but this?

WhyWhyWhyMum · 13/11/2022 14:41

Try again!

@TragicMuse how about doing this walking tour
as a day out for him?

No idea if you live in London, but you could make a day out of it, stopping for coffee/lunch/drinks as appropriate.
