Pies for Christmas dinner

We're probably hosting my MIL & FIL this Christmas. We have a tiny kitchen and my FIL is also celiac. My husband and I are vegetarian. So all the different dietary requirements isn't easy in such a small kitchen.

We have had pies from Pieminster before which are delicious and I've found out they now do Gluten free ones.

How would you feel if you were served a pie for Christmas with all the trimmings? I have a small oven which could cook the 4 individual pies (I'd get us all GF to avoid cross contamination) and then my bigger oven could cook the veg.

@Plump82 you sound like a brilliant host so your guests will have a great time regardless of what comes out the kitchen.

What a great idea! Catering for different needs is difficult

Which nut roast recipe are you using @Plump82 ?

I think most meat eaters that I know would be perfectly happy with meat pie of going to a veggie's for Christmas Day.

www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/nut_roast_38249/amp. This one but I swapped out the spelt/freekah for puy lentils and it seems to work well. I also added cranberries in when I gave it a trial run.

@Saz12 thank you! That's very kind. I love to cook so just want to make sure there's something there for everyone.

I'm coeliac, and I'd be delighted. Even more so if I knew you had a separate foil sheet to avoid any cross contamination of my pie. I can't comment on Piemunster, sadly, as I'm also allergic to milk and they have butter. But the Genius pies are also good if you need an alternative, as is the M&S steak pie. The suggestion above for red cabbage is great, and I would be more than happy for that as my Christmas lunch. Have a great time!

Sorry...cross posted with your nut roast update. Yum! I'd also be pleased with that.
