Turtle doves fingerless glove seconds swap thread

As per the Christmas thread with the bath humbug: If anyone wants to swap their random colours of turtle doves fingerless gloves from the seconds shop on eBay please post here what you have and what you'd like to swap for. I think this is allowed...if not then fair enough.

I have a green pair and a black/navy blue and white striped pair for swapping and might be tempted to swap my dove grey ones.

I've just received delivery of two pairs, one bright red and one bright pink. They don't have star stickers and the labels aren't crossed. They are too small for me, I'd love to swap for any large sized ones, preferably darker colours. I can't see any faults so it must just be the smaller sizing that makes them seconds.

Could you post a pic of the bright pink, please?

I've done a swap already, but have a couple more darker pairs I'm not that fussed on. One is navy. I'm on school run, when I i get home later I will check sizing and post a pic.

I'll try and post a pic here, the pink is an accurate colour, the red is a bit redder in real life

I have a slim-fit, pale blue pair to swap - they look on the grey side in the picture but in real life they are blue with not much grey colour at all. There's a small hole near the white sticker, but the Turtle Doves label is not marked.

I'd like to swap for black, grey, or red, please!

@DangerousMouse I'd love the pink, please. This is my navy pair I have to swap if you like them. I've taken a pic next to a slim fitting pair of green that I'm keeping. It shows that they aren't slim fit. No faults that I can see, and no strike through of the turtle doves label.

They are a slightly darker navy than the photo, btw.

I now have a bright pink pair to swap. The inside of the label has a black pen dot but I cant see a fault. Not slim fitting as I have med to large hands and they fit me without stretching.

I already have a pair the same colour (which annoyingly are tighter on me).

Just received these today, is anyone interested in a swap for either the pale blush or the light greeny blue? I've not managed to find anything wrong with them. The dark ones have a bit of a thin patch where the folded bit is. Ideally I'm looking for a larger/looser fit pair.

@BluOcty - there is another seller of recycled cashmere gloves on eBay - not quite as cheap as seconds as they are £15 but I got some and they are very nice ( and much less expensive than full price turtle doves) - seller was March Hare

Annoyingly I seem to have bought wrist warmers from the eBay site. I really wanted gloves.
I have an old cashmere jumper I was going to take to someone to make into gloves but it’s been sat here for 5 years. So I bought some and now have two more useless cashmere things. Grrrr

Does anyone know if the wrist warmers come in wider/different sizes? I have a pair but they're too narrow for my partner (I have quite slim wrist I think). I've had a few fingerless gloves and they vary in size.

See the non cashmere fingerless gloves - are they likely to have "faults" or is it different because they're not cashmere?

I ordered two pairs @StepIntoXmas so I can report back when they arrive (seem to be super delayed due to the RM strikes).

Hey @StepIntoXmas I received two pairs of gloves and both seem to be cashmere mix. They are soft and lovely, and not scratchy at all. They took a week to come though because of the RM strikes, I'm guessing. They have a neat black mark through the 'cashmere' on the inside of the Turtle Doves tag. You can't see it when wearing them. For gifting, you could remove the tag entirely I guess.

One of my pairs had a bit of the black marker on the glove itself, and the TD ebay shop are sending out a new pair with no need for me to return the old pair. So that is fantastic service from them. (Though they need to get posted on, so hope they don't take too long to get here, eeek).
