Turtle doves fingerless glove seconds swap thread

As per the Christmas thread with the bath humbug: If anyone wants to swap their random colours of turtle doves fingerless gloves from the seconds shop on eBay please post here what you have and what you'd like to swap for. I think this is allowed...if not then fair enough.

I have a green pair and a black/navy blue and white striped pair for swapping and might be tempted to swap my dove grey ones.

I'll post photos when I've finished my cup of tea

I don't understand. They are £26 whether you choose the colour or go lucky dip? I must be missing something.

I’m confused too.

When I got my lucky dip slight second ones a few years ago, they were nearly half price, about £15 I think. I wouldn't have paid full price anyway, but if I did, I'd have wanted to pick the colour.

Luckily I got black ones, which is probably what I would have picked given the choice.

OP mentioned an eBay seconds shop so I don't think these are coming from the turtle doves website - I certainly wouldn't pay full price for something that may come in a hideous colour & with faults

Sorry, my fault - I was thinking of lucky dip rather than seconds. I’m sure the lucky dip used to be cheaper.

I ordered 2 pairs of the 'seconds' yesterday - hoping for one 'sensible' colour (navy, black, grey) and one bright fun one 🤞🏼

How long have they been taking to arrive does anyone know please?

The seconds are sold on ebay for about £7.99 including postage. They are cheaper if you buy more than 1 pair.

I have a light grey pair that I would be up for swapping for something brighter (have 4 grey pairs)

I have a cream pair, a bright red pair and a bright royal blue pair if anyone wants to swap. I’d like black, navy, dark grey, dark red, any dark colour.

I have a cornflower blue pair and would love to swap for woodland green.

@shumway there is a tiny hole next to the star but easily fixed. I'm happy to do it for you. They are a normal fit too.

The listing on ebay come and go, presumably as and when they have seconds to get rid of.

If you go onto ebay and search turtledoves fingerless gloves, it'll come up when they have listings. They don't have any at the moment though.
