Baby born website is doing the advent calendar half price for £20 (& free shipping). I had to find a Christmas character on the website and click on it which applied the discount. Was pretty easy to find and not time consuming as I expected.

We have a load of stuff to get from smyths - does anyone think there will be any decent discount codes or sales coming up?

Any advise about The Entertainer and their ‘Jacks Birthday Club’? I’ve got a basket of things ready to purchase and have put in a birthday date that should be 3 weeks today (after creating an account yesterday)- no discount code emailed yet and I’m desperate to get it all ordered!

@Hibbutyhop I've never had a voucher come through, but if you contact them they should send it through (as long as you added the child more than 3 weeks before the birthday).

I never seem to get the Jacks birthday club emails with the code for some reason even though I’ve double checked I’ve enabled emails. I contacted them and they gave me a code though so try that if you don’t receive it.

I have just ordered a Baby Born and a Baby Annabel advent calendar for my girls! I was so pleased there are 2 different options. Took less than a minute to click on a character, delivery also free!

Guys, I'd like to buy some Happyland stuff for my DD. Should I expect any decent discounts around Black friday or before Christmas?

Happyland is almost indestructible and often for sale on Facebook marketplace and the like for amazing prices still looking brand new just without the box. I would personally pick it up secondhand as you will get so much more for your money.

The happyland fairy sets have been very popular in out house and my 6 year old still gets it out often (maybe once a fortnight) to play with

Thanks, sadly not in the UK and it's not a brand that's too popular around here. So I'm stuck with official retailers - hopefully Amazon or ELC will have some discounts.

@Hibbutyhop i signed up 2 weeks ago for a birthday 3 weeks from today and the code came through first thing this morning no problem.
Maybe you need to pick a birthday 3.5 weeks or so away - as I expect the emails/codes are generated in a batch run rather than individually as you sign up

They often do 20% off which stacks with the jacks birthday code

Can anyone help with Barbie clothes? They seem expensive but the amazon bundles look like they might fall apart!

Last year I got lucky at an NCT sale with a bundle, but I also got some new outfits discounted to a really good price at The Entertainer in the run up to Xmas. I'm scouting for this again this year too as we really don't need any more dolls or massive cheap plastic sets (we actually have very few of the latter, but even a couple is too much IMO!), but DD2 will be disappointed to not add something new to her beloved collection. If I spot anything this year I'll report back!

@SkankingWombat I have seen some in Argos, 4 outfits for £20 in the buy two for £20. Still feels a lot to spend. It's annoying that a barbie with outfit can be cheaper than the outfits! I saw symths so a little pack of shoes. I don't want a pile of dolls, each set comes with more dolls too. Thank you

@OKScarpetta how did you get a Baby Annabell advent calendar? I can only see the baby born one and the 43cm clothes don’t fit our Annabell!
