Smyths catalogue had some nice doll/pram bits x

There are some craft bits that are pretty cheap in argos right now, some half price.

Argos has a few decent prices on Lego sets.

Also to fulfil the “plastic tat” side of things they have the Thomas & friends crane tower set for £55, absolute bargain and my youngest is going to love it! Don’t worry though, we also have wooden trains and track here too.

Some jigsaws & games are reduced quite a bit too.

@Devo1818 Which ones are you looking for? Tesco had the small ones (not the tiny squishville, the smallest cuddly ones) on a clubcard offer of £7ish when I was in the other day, and they're supposedly having their toy sale start on Monday. Smyths have a very select few of the giant ones for £40 or £45 instead of £50, if you're lucky and your local store has them in. Otherwise its the Jacks Birthday Club at the entertainer 20% off code that I've found, again it will depend if the ones you are after are in stock there. (Can you tell my kids have become obsessed by Squishmallows!)

I think I'd go for a medium sized one - she wants a huge one but I'm not spending £45 on a Teddy!

Jacks birthday club is on the Entertainers website, www.thetoyshop.com , and you input a birthday for a child, then they send you a 20% off code 3 weeks before the birthday date, you can put any date in though (say, 3 weeks and 2 days from now...) and then they will send the code for that. You have to have a free account with them and say yes to emails for marketing purposes from The Entertainer.

@LLilacPoppy probably not, they haven't for a couple of years now.

They usually do different deals each week like 20% off lego or 20% off Peppa Pig or whatever.

I did this. Signed up for 4 weeks time. No discount. They don’t want to give them atm!

Last year Costco had the giant ones for less than £20 a bit closer to Xmas, so it is worth keeping an eye out there if you know someone with a membership.

@Devo1818 Keep an eye out on the Costco website if you know anyone who is a member? A few months ago they had the huge squishmallows on an instant saver deal for £17.99. Smyths on the same retail park was selling the same ones for £60 at the time.
