@PinkDaydreams on the app just type amazon warehouse into the search bar and then scroll down for the different sections

FluffyFluffMonster · 12/07/2022 10:34

Does anyone have a kids Amazon tablet? If so are they any good? Ds 5 has asked for an iPad but the prices are too much. They are on offer today for £59!

We have the older kids model for Dd aged 7. It's brilliant. We can see what she's using, she can't download anything without our permission, we can set time limits (and lock it overnight/ when she's been misbehaving) and it limits what she can watch.

FluffyFluffMonster · 12/07/2022 10:43

Ds will be six soon so if I get one I will get the older kids version! Reviews are mixed on Amazon so thanks for feedback!

It’s TENNER TUESDAY at Boots today. There are some eyeshadow palettes which might make suitable presents. I stocked up on this Nivea serum reduced from £29.99 to £10. It works well for me: other anti-dark spot products don’t.

There’s 5% off with the code AFFS5
I found other discount codes online, such as SAVE10 and SAVE20, but they didn’t work with my order.

This beauty vault has 9 full size Number 7 products for £35, but I signed up for early access so it may not be available to everyone until tomorrow.

Thank you!

I was after lego fire station of some sort, a lego ambulance and playmobil ambulance. Sadly no decent prime deals on any!

Jojomamman have got some Christmas jumpers at half price if anyone needs one

tabbycat985 · 12/07/2022 13:01

Could someone please remind me of what the Tonie deals were like last year? I've tried flicking through the old threads & can't find any info!

This one comes with 3 figures for £88, which seems like a really good deal or am I being blinded by Prime day?

@PinkDaydreams did you see this one LEGO 60321 City Fire Brigade Set, Building with Fold-Back Flames, Truck and Firefighter Minifigures, Rescue Toy for Boys and Girls Age 7 plus amzn.eu/d/7IrhKTe

PinkDaydreams · 12/07/2022 13:55

Thank you @DockOTheBay . That looks perfect, was hoping for a bit more of a bargain price on it as that's been that price for a while.

DockOTheBay · 12/07/2022 14:05

Ah has it,yes I suppose it's still quite expensive for a toy!

Mariecat1970 · 12/07/2022 16:24

Hi, long term lurker here but finally have something that may be helpful to someone!

All Sylvanian Family related- Tesco have some sets in their clearance, I picked up the Walnut Squirrel family for £9 and the red car for £11.50- both half price. There were other families and some buildings in the offer but they were out of stock in my local store.

Also- Asda currently have the caravan half price down to £30- the cheapest I’ve ever seen it! It’s £34.99 on Amazon at the moment but Asda also have their 90 day returns policy so you’d have a while to return if you change your mind or do find it cheaper.

Hope it helps someone!

maudisgonne · 12/07/2022 16:52

I don’t post on here much as can’t get out to the shops.
I lurk though and am incredibly grateful for all the bargain presents I find.
I just want to report my experience with iWOOT though, as they sent me a faulty item and charged me £2.99 to return it.
I know I could have argued if I had the energy.
I can’t remember who recommended this company but certainly don’t blame them. I think I’m more annoyed about the return charge than the faulty item as that could be a genuine mistake.
Anyway it’s the only problem I’ve ever had with places on this post.

Brogues · 12/07/2022 17:25

Did you use PayPal @maudisgonne i believe you can reclaim postage for so many orders per year.

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 12/07/2022 18:47

Thanks everyone for the Air Fryer guidance! I have gone for the Instant Pot Vortex which is down to 59.99 on Prime and the book linked earlier in the thread. Might give it to DH for his birthday...

Also got myself a Vax Carpet Cleaner.

Uninspiring purchases, but we will be happy 😊

Great deal on the Tonie box!

PinkDaydreams · 12/07/2022 19:06

There are some good offers on Brio on amazon prime, shame my son doesn't need any more!!

PinkDaydreams · 12/07/2022 19:08

Regarding Tonies, I've seen the figures in tkmaxx for £3-£4 each.

Clarabella72 · 12/07/2022 20:13

Have a look at Morrisons we got a playmania fire engine and. Ambulance for about £15 not so long ago reduced from £25

PinkDaydreams · 12/07/2022 20:42

@Clarabella72 thank you, I never think of morrisons as I haven't got one anywhere near me but I'll ask mother to keep an eye out in her one!

PinkDaydreams · 12/07/2022 20:44

Just a message to say thank you all so much for these threads!

I've had 8 nursery staff gifts to buy and I've just gone through my haul. Should have cost well over £100 but I've paid around £40. Son is leaving to start school and they've all been so good to him.

Thank you again for all of the kindness, laughs, joy and bargains!!!😍

theEndisFar · 12/07/2022 20:54

Can anyone link to the dolly sticker books on the aldi deal mentioned up thread? I’ve tried searching the app and the website and can’t find them. My DD loves these books but they expensive normally so this sounded ideal but I can’t find it.

Scout2016 · 12/07/2022 21:45

@theEndisFar I don't think they are available anymore www.aldi.co.uk/purple-sticker-dolly-dressing-book/p/719919621930701

I have found Aldi good for stock enquiries over facebook messenger previously, think I might have asked over the phone about something once too.

Tesco had them 2 for £3.50 club card price last time I was in if that's any help.

I ordered the aldi ones online pre-order, due tomorrow but today I got an email saying it's delayed so maybe they've oversold.
