@ClaraLane Hope you like them, I kept a couple for myself too, the pots are hand glazed I'm planning on using mine to put some basil etc in and display them on a kitchen shelf.

VivaJen · 05/07/2022 18:20

If anyone goes to the Country Living Christmas Fairs (London, Glasgow and Harrogate) the code XMAS50 gives 50% off. It's still a ridiculous £10 after the discount but I do like it and there are always some lovely small sellers there

mac1974 · 05/07/2022 20:15

Next sale has got lots of bath and body works in it including 3 wick candles for £11. They've also got lots of bath bombs in the sale

Famousthehero · 05/07/2022 20:33

There’s a summer sale on the Yoto player site, so player+ starter pack is £80 Instead of £100.
Yoto mini still full price. It says 10% off selected cards.

Not sure if/how this compares for best bargain, as I remember there are referral codes and the yoto club, which also give discounts.

I should look into it I guess, as think this will be our main Xmas gift this year.

Mrsfussypants1 · 05/07/2022 20:42

@Famousthehero there's usually referral codes on the referral thread, or somebody will come along with one for you, you can refer a friend as many times as you like. I'm clueless how to share my referral. Dgd (6) got one last Christmas and it's been a bigger hit with her and should last her years as they have such a large age range in content.

PinkDaydreams · 05/07/2022 21:20

Next vip sale is now on. Nothing for me this time round, I can't find anything!!

mac1974 · 05/07/2022 21:34

@PinkDaydreams I think sales like this are only good if you know what you are looking for. I did get some BBW stuff (for me), some jeans & a bikini for my daughter & 2 bath bombs that have my nieces initials on. The bathbombs were the only Xmas gifts 🙈

PinkDaydreams · 05/07/2022 21:46

@mac1974 you're right, over the years I've gone a bit over board buying clothes for my son in the next sale, I've still got alot and don't need to add to it. Whereas before I'd have prob bought lots because 'it's cheap', but then it doesn't end up getting worn! I'm trying to be a bit more careful now.

Famousthehero · 05/07/2022 22:08

Ah thanks @Mrsfussypants1 !

I tried the yoto deal with a link from the referrals thread and it took an extra 10% off, so the yoto plus starter pack down from the deal at £80 to £72 :-)

Have put my link on the referrals thread now 🤗

I used to make that mistake too!

Who wanted the Boots' vitamins offer? They're BOGOF for today only.

PinkDaydreams · 06/07/2022 08:40

That was me thank you @NoWordForFluffy 😊 there's normally a £5 off code floating round but I can't find any? My paper vouchers are all in store use only.

Fuckingfuckssake · 06/07/2022 08:48

@NoWordForFluffy just came on to say exactly the same thing! I knew someone had asked.

Do you know if it's in store too? Thanks :)

PinkDaydreams · 06/07/2022 09:31

@newhere12 it never normally is in store this offer. They usually have 3 for 2 though on the vitamins.

Great minds!

It's online only.

newhere12 · 06/07/2022 10:43

Thank you! Needed some vitamins for multiple ailments so appreciate getting the discount :)

DockOTheBay · 06/07/2022 13:48

Went to check out the B&M toy sale but didn't find anything even remotely interesting. I assume I was too late as it's been running for a while already. Mainly garden toys and cheap craft sets which were 2 for £16 reduced to £5 each so not a huge saving

They did however have the Brownie skillets that people raved about on here last year. Nutella Blondie and Biscoff Brownie ones with a cast iron cooking skillet for £3.99.

recklessgran · 06/07/2022 22:24

Amazon have £5 off a £25 New Look gift card currently.

Cherryrainbow · 06/07/2022 23:17

Upto 70% off sale on vertbaudet and there's some xmas outfits and accessories on there too full price.

tabbycat985 · 07/07/2022 02:44

Hi guys! Cath Kidson has some fantastic reductions in the summer sale. Lovely lunch bags and water bottles are heavily discounted.

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/07/2022 10:09

Thank you @AperolWhore for the tip, they've got some nice champagne flutes for £4 each which will make good teacher presents with a bottle of something sparkly, don't suppose anyone has a student beans code for Cath Kidson please? I've got a few to buy for 🙄

EverydayIsPJday · 07/07/2022 11:16

Can I just ask about teacher gifts as I only have one child at nursery school ATM...he has one key teacher but I have no idea how many assistants there are as there are quite a few part time volunteers that help the children and they change through the week....I don't want to seem mean only buying for the teacher when there are atleast 4/5 others that contribute (although wouldn't like to guess how many!) I could ask but it would probably seen abit wierd at the end of term as he leaves ready for reception and it really will depend who's around on the last day of term for gifts. Wwyd? Thanks 😊

I’m calling to a bakery and buying a box of eclairs, tarts and cake for my son to take in. I did the same last year when my daughter was there and it was only about £10 and looked like loads. I also sent in a nice box of tea bags and Costa instant coffee.

AperolWhore · 07/07/2022 11:34

@EverydayIsPJday my daughter is in her second year of nursery and I make up a small hamper full of different chocolates and hand creams. It only costs around £15 and is always well received 😀
