@Givealittlebit I think we're all feeling the same this year!!

@Cuwins That's such a great idea clubbing together to save on the shipping, now I just need to find some friends😂

Kukubird have yet another sale on! I managed to get 10 items for £20, that's including the shipping (£2.99).
Don't forget if you spend over £8 to go to the offer page & choose a feee gift!

@tabbycat985 my sister and I often do it and she decided to ask a friend who has a child's birthday coming up too. Also meant we got the extra 10% off as she hadn't brought from them before but I had.

Not really Xmas related but I popped to H&M to buy a pack of 2 T-shirts that's online in the sale for £5 but it's £3.99 delivery which I didn't want to pay. When I got to the store they were selling them individually...one was £5 and the other £2. When I challenged them they gave it me at the £5 for 2 but I thought that was really naughty of them. Just check any instore offers v online.

If you make an account on H&M online then it's always free shipping. And quite often there's "member benefits" which includes cheaper clothes and money off.

This is not the case any more. Free delivery is only if you spend £20 or more, unless you have 300 points on your account. Has stopped me making a couple of purchases recently. And I don’t seem to get so many rewards either.

mac1974 · 03/07/2022 08:41

I have an H&M account and it was shipping over £20 for free. It's fine i got what i needed I just thought it was poor. I shouldn't have been surprised though really.

Scout2016 · 03/07/2022 09:20

@tabbycat985 or any who knows - what's the quality of kukubird like please? Do they wear and wash OK? Thank you

Scout2016 · 03/07/2022 09:44

Monsoon have a sale on, with extra 10% with code SALE10

Yes I’m not impressed as I usually buy kids clothes and they often have limited sizes in stock at any one time so I would find it hard to reach the £20 limit without buying things I don’t need. £1 gets you 1 point and points expire every year so you have to spend that amount every year to qualify! It used to be great.

Be careful with monsoon. They take your money before they check your item is in stock. I ordered my daughter a dress for £12 and then some gloves from the sale as an add on for £3. Postage was £3.99. A few days later I got an email to say the dress was out of stock and I’d been refunded for it, so I’d ended up paying more in postage for some gloves I really wasn’t that bothered about.

Have you signed up for the Amazon Shopper Panel app?

You have to upload ten receipts a month (photo or email the receipt) and in return you get a £5 voucher each month.

There are also smaller surveys worth 25p.

It's not a huge amount but all adds up and I'm saving my vouchers for Christmas bargains.

tabbycat985 · 03/07/2022 11:44

@Scout2016 I've only one pair of leggings from their range & they aren't worn very often as they're a loud pattern but super soft material & still nice & bright after washing. I will say that I don't know that I would have paid £12 for them but for the sale price I was happy to make another order!

Scout2016 · 03/07/2022 12:20

Thanks Tabby.
Bad news about Monsoon, they used to be OK. Thanks for heads up.

Fuckingfuckssake · 03/07/2022 12:47

@Someaddedsugar I think you have to be invited for the Amazon Shopper panel? A friend was asked (by email) so I tried with her link and it would only let me register my interest.

mac1974 · 03/07/2022 12:48

The amazon shopper sounds good. I've just tried to join & I've been waitlisted! The anticipation.....

Someaddedsugar · 03/07/2022 13:42

I hope that doesn't mean I spend far too much on Amazon 😬😂

Someaddedsugar · 03/07/2022 13:48

I've just read on another thread that Aldi have trampolines in stock for £129 - not sure if anyone needs one but thought it was worth sharing!

Sisisimone · 03/07/2022 14:19

Thanks for the Amazon shopper tip. I've never heard of it, was accepted straight away and have already uploaded a couple of receipts and done a survey

Do you just download an app?

Cuwins · 03/07/2022 14:38

I know it's not for everyone but if your trying to save some money then don't forget the 2nd hand option for kids particuarly. Just been to a car boot and got several Xmas presents for the baby- shape sorter, stacking cups and some animal figures £1 each and all in great condition. Then a gorgeous wooden train with Beatrix potter figures on that I would happily have paid £15 for new for £1 and it's in new condition basically!

Someaddedsugar · 03/07/2022 15:04

@Cuwins I think it's just called Amazon Shopper Panel on whichever App Store you use.

Vinted also has some bargains and many are brand new with tags.
