It was sunny here his morning too now it's grey and miserable.

pussycatunpickingcrossesagain · 23/02/2022 16:28

why I may have ordered a new corded Dyson for him for our WA 😉🤦‍♀️ I expect much swearing🤬 😹
really grey here... BBC says it will snow here from 7am 🤔 I thought it was a weather forecast not a comedy 😹😹

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/02/2022 17:44

That's a mighty fine Anniversary present there puss , he can think of your kindness as he wafts effortlessly along ( I bought a Halo Capsual cordless a couple of years ago and it's invaluable for the little pests litter tracking - cats not husband Xmas Grin )

As it's getting near to the next Rudolp Day , I fancy a wander along to the nearest M&S Outlet , if only to browse . I don't think they'll have anything Christmass-ey but who knows !

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/02/2022 17:48

I've just checked the weather for tomorrow
Sleet showers and heavy snow early pm then light snow .

seriously , I might've welcomed sleet/snow two bloody months ago but not now thanks !

WreckTangled · 23/02/2022 18:08

Dd just had her Covid vaccine. She didn't even flinch but the nurse was super quick

NoWordForFluffy · 23/02/2022 18:39

Just wind and rain here, 70. We don't often do snow really; the benefit of being coastal!

Romance isn't dead in the Puss household! Sounds like I need to get sultanas for our blackbirds. 😍 Do starlings like them too? Do you just get the cheapest ones or are they fussy?!

pussycatunpickingcrossesagain · 23/02/2022 18:56

I'm so pleased you approve of my choice of gift for DH. Halo

Not sure our cats would take to a robo-vac. One would probably attack it, and her brother would hide behind me. 🤦‍♀️😻😹

Weather looks interesting here tomorrow...

Wreck your DD is a Star

fluffy Starlings bloody love them as well. I get the cheapest from the supermarket (about 99p/£1 a bag from Morrisons/Sains) the currant Grin ones are from sains and not that sticky. If you talk to your blackbirds (yes, I know, I'm nuts) they'll come down while your feeding them.

DH was being harassed by the blackbird yesterday! It sat in the outhouse waiting for him to put food out. 🤣🤣

I shall buy a bag for the birdies when I'm next in Sainsbos!

pussycatunpickingcrossesagain · 23/02/2022 19:16

1 bag..it won't last long... but then we've around 10 of them + the dozens of starlings...they're permanently asking for more.🤦‍♀️

NoWordForFluffy · 23/02/2022 19:18

We have starlings living in the loft. Damn noisy they are too!

I shall start with one bag and see how they go sounds like quickly! I can always buy more. 😁

nerosnewfiddle · 23/02/2022 21:21

Another bloody storm Angry

NoWordForFluffy · 23/02/2022 21:23

Have they named it now? So bloody Gladys is on the way? It's like a riot in an old people's home this last week or so.

CrazyBaubles · 24/02/2022 12:07

304 - added the countdown incase it hasn't been done yet (signal is patchy at best here).

We left Loch Ness early today because it snowed overnight and is due to carry on all day. It's snowing heavily rugby now so we're moving slowly through the Cairngorms.

puss I would love a robo-vac but ddog would be a nervous wreck with one (plus he's almost blind now so would be guaranteed to walk into / trip over it).

NoWordForFluffy · 24/02/2022 17:20

Afternoon!

How far up the road markers is the snow, Crazy? The Cairngorms are stupidly pretty in the snow!

It's windy here. Drier than forecast, so annoying we didn't get the washing done earlier in the day! It's out in the breeze, so hopefully will do well.

Busy, busy at work. Hence my silence!

Puss, sultanas were put out. They were demolished!

TheWoollybacksWife · 24/02/2022 18:43

I managed to completely empty both laundry baskets yesterday. Unfortunately that involved using the tumble dryer.

Would love to see the Cairngorms in the snow Crazy

WreckTangled · 24/02/2022 19:22

It was mainly sunny here today. Pretty cold though. We had a day of shopping and the cinema, it was so nice, dh had an impromptu day off. We had a nice lunch too. Spent loads of money but we don't do it often.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/02/2022 23:22

I thought the Empty Washing Basket was an urban myth Woolly Xmas Grin

I bought a 10kg WM a few months ago , brilliant for ploughing through the laundry . Though just when I think I've got it covered , one of the DC will have a shower and there's another heap of clothes in there .

As tomorrow is Rudolph Day , I;m going to buy a very festive DashCam .
Or DasherCam as it'll be called , after one of the reindeer ,

NoWordForFluffy · 25/02/2022 06:37

Morning!

No cross trainer today as I spent half the night awake, so I'm exhausted. DH woke me with his snoring and then I couldn't get back off!

We often reach the bottom of the basket. It lasts for all of 5 minutes! Sigh.

WreckTangled · 25/02/2022 06:41

The mornings are def getting lighter. Instead of deer and foxes this morning I saw rabbits and cats Grin can't wait for summer.

ClaraLane · 25/02/2022 08:29

20% off full price stuff at Lisa Angel this weekend with code MUMSTHEWORD just reordered the stuff I ordered last night for Mother’s Day gifts.

CrazyBaubles · 25/02/2022 20:54

We are home! Our 5 hour drive became 6.5 hours thanks to 2 accidents (one on the M5 and another on the M4) but we made it.
Snow didn't reach as far as we were staying last night (Lockerbie) but it was bitterly cold.

Fluffy when we got out of the Cairngorms there were a few inches of snow on the road (with more on the hills / trees etc) and it was still snowing heavily as we left the area.

Woolly it was very pretty - just a shame I couldn't get any decent photos as we didn't dare stop because we were scared they'd shut sections of the road.

NoWordForFluffy · 26/02/2022 07:41

Morning!

Bet you were relieved to get home, Crazy. That's a long old drive.

Not sure what we're doing today. Might encourage a toy cull so they've room to store their Lego as it's everywhere, and they don't play with most of it now really.

nerosnewfiddle · 26/02/2022 09:54

Happy Saturday!

That's a long time in a car Crazy.

Dc had their friends over last night. I'm still cleaning up after them.

MagratLancre · 26/02/2022 10:04

What a drive @CrazyBaubles!
Thanks for the tip @ClaraLane

DS has added his first item to Xmas list...an ipad...

NoWordForFluffy · 26/02/2022 10:16

Ha, first and only, I hope @MagratLancre! Xmas Grin
