Our dentists aren't doing scale and polish at the moment because of Covid. Can't say I'm too sad about it tbh

They weren't polishing last time I went, weirdly. I could do without the scale too, frankly! She only wears a bog standard surgical mask as well, which I assume is her choice of PPE.

Am I the only one that doesn't launder money?! I have done a TV remote before now🤦‍♀️ they don't half rattle when on a full spin.

I haven't washed the remote there's still time but like Crazy I've washed wallets, ID cards, and a fair few tenners (come up lovely they do). I agree Why once it's been in the washer it's my payment

The theme here is "stuff DH leaves in his pockets" I don't check, I just assume that because they are in the wash basket he has already done that

It's the first Rudolph Day of 2022 tomorrow - anyone got any plans?

I'm always really careful with pockets and insist everything is inside out (except socks) . Small things go in net bags or padded laundry bags .
Delicates like fine jumpers gp in bags . Stops them tangling and ending up with 8' arms .
I did wash a pen in my previous machine though

I already have some wrapping paper I bought last week.
I might eat the cake (fruit cake , not iced or marzipanned) after dinner , just to get into the spirit of things .

Plan to drag DH to Ikea at the weekend , looking for a sofa. He is thrilled (not) .

I have a couple of Christmas bits and pieces I'm going to put on ebay, and I might see if there's any cute jumpers for DD to be had.

334 I'm back in the gym! Woke up two minutes before my alarm so was easy to get up.

Dh is always leaving little pencils in his pockets very annoying.

My observation went well yesterday so I'm pleased with that. Uni day today but no lectures so I'll just do some e learning or start my next assignment. Plus fold the washing.

I've lost my marbles. My "friend" introduced me to Wordle. Oh my poor brain - it melted. So in the interests of sharing the frustration with DH I told him about it. The absolute complete and utter ratbag did it in three goes.

I'm no longer talking to him.

Everyone on my Facebook is obsessed with Wordle! I'm not even looking.

Evening. I haven't done much for Rudolph Day either however, my dm bought me a highly discounted Christmas table centrepiece today - a giant, 7wick winter berries candle in a big red dish. It's bloody huge, and probably not what I would have chosen but it is nice and Christmassy

HeyUp I've been too scared to look at Wordle because I'm sure I'm going to get addicted to it.

I started Wordle after a couple of people I follow on Twitter were posting about it. I've now got DD1 and DS hooked 😬

Rex London have some fantastic bits. We don't do crackers any more but when we did I preferred to fill them myself with stuff we liked rather than spend less money on useless stuff.

Thanks for the good wishes for DD2. I really hope she gets an interview.

@WreckTangled I've a feeling that DH will beat me too, it's one of those things that I think just clicks in your brain - well it does in his.

We had a phonecall from our energy provider earlier on...Our monthly bill, if we fix it, will go from £103 a month to £287!!! drinks gin to dull the shock

I think Martin Lewis is advising not to fix for now, HeyUp. Though it does feel like playing chicken somewhat!
