Crackers. I've just realised the Christmas crackers are still in the car.

Chestnuts! Haha !just remembered when I read this, but to be fair DH had to take over as head chef today as I felt rough .

I forgot carrots and parsnips. Xmas Dinner was very green and beige.
And I forgot to make tiamisu.

Forgot the sprouts also cooked a lovely creamy mash and forgot to serve it 🤣

Only when I saw this thread I realised that I forgot pigs in blankets. It’s actually for the best because our oven barely coped with turkey, potatoes, carrot and parsnips.
DH could say that I forgot sprouts which he’s bought yesterday but it’s my plan all along.

Yorkshire puddings forgotten here too.

I also didn't make a pudding, but that was laziness rather than forgetfulness.

Stuffing, every year!

Red cabbage. Just found it in the utility room.

Decided not to bother with Yorkshire as plenty of food.
Half way through realised we'd forgot the glazed carrots (they been in the pan under the sive of green)
They were delicious.

Luckily didn’t forget anything this year, even with having to do a whole separate load of stuff for my veggie brother. Nearly forgot to serve the mashed swede but remembered it just in time. Was going to make some more mince pies yesterday but didn’t get round to it. Fancy one now.

I didn’t forget any food this year but I did forget the Christmas crackers! I left them on the side as I’d gone classy this year with the table and didn’t want them to ruin the look

I forgot to get the cranberry sauce out. It was only a jar one and nobody seemed to miss it!

Didn’t forget any food this year. There would be a riot here if I forgot the pigs in blankets.
I did forget the crackers though. And I meant to put the racing game on the table before desert but forgot.
We buy a fish platter now from our butchers so that plus extra smoked salmon is starter sorted. I just open I and put it on the table😁 DH made a bowl of salad.

Stuffing. Having said that it has a long shelf life so we will try again in 2022.
