When do you decorate for Christmas?

It’s a gradual process from now
A small led tree this weekend
An advent candle and calendar from 1st.
A little more each week
Only put the angel on top of the tree when the final family member finishes/gets home for Christmas

When all DCs were at school I used to decorate the house for when they came home on the final day of school

Usually first week December, however, have painter coming 4th for 4/5 days so it'll be once my house is back in order. Could be the 24th!

We're in a similar boat this year, it'll be the second weekend at the earliest but possibly even the third weekend. I'm very unimpressed but not much I can do about it. I'm really dying to get the decorations up this year, it's been a fairly shit year and we all need a bit of cheering up.

Ours will go up on the 12th when we go and pick the tree, they come down on Boxing Day as we go away the next day and come home the day before we all go back to work and school. Nice to have a fresh start to come back to.

Usually the 2nd weekend of December.
