A little story of hasty shopping gone wrong…

Tuesday 10am I knew the Theatre Tickets Sale was opening to MasterCard users. Set a note in my calendar. Saw I had a work call at 10.15 so I had to be quick.

Opened page, clicked through, chose four tickets in the Stalls at what I thought was a reduced price (because theatres are so expensive these days). Hurray, start work.

Later on I was on one of the previous threads to this one, someone mentioned the sale, all tickets £50 or less. That’s odd I thought. Checks sale website and sees BIG BUTTON to press for sale which was not there at 10am Tuesday.

Turns out I have paid full price for my tickets….although in seats which would never come up in the sale, looking at the Big Button stuff.

I fully blame whoever did not press the Big Button Release Lever at 10am precisely for this annoyance

Pearls of wisdom are that brand doesn't matter as long as you're paying at least £30 for the keyboard. Wifi and your own gaming skills are what make you better rather than pricey kit.

I spend far too much money at M&S but no % discounts in my sparks offers. They're trying to soften me up with free mince pies though (and it's working).
Been lucky with both Argos and John Lewis though, so not complaining (& didn't go crazy at JL so minimal guilt).
