Thanks @squishmycherry for the title. A massage gin sounds interesting !

@Flambola

Just wanted to pop on and say thanks for the Argos tip - bought some presents to go in my party stash - 6 for £6 each, not bad! The little tie dye set in the 2 for £15 promotion is really good, by the way. I’ve bought those before for 6 year olds and they’ve gone down a treat.
Thanks Flambola tie dye set sounds ideal for DDs friend, i can't see one in the 2 for £15 offer can you post a link please? Thanks!

@RJnomore1

Just had an odd email from Celtic and co. Apparently both I and another Customer tried to buy the last Shetland wool gloves at the same moment, theirs went through and mine didn’t?
Ours never turned up :-( says delivered but nothing came
Choconuts · 25/11/2021 14:13

Hi had anyone had a hotel chocolat dipping box before?

I'm thinking of getting one for my sister and BIL but my sister has celiacs and I was wondering if the chocolate pots and sections have a cover on them so no cross contamination? Thanks (fSmile)

Froppysue · 25/11/2021 14:13

@22Giraffes aw I’ve never seen one in aldi! Dd would adore one! I’ll see if my dsis can check Aldi’s near her, thank you.

Choconuts · 25/11/2021 14:15

@AlexinMotherland

Quick question about yarn bowls, is it better to have the ones with just a hole or the ones with a swirl so you can get the yarn out easily? I know nothing about knitting Grin
@AlexinMotherland definitely the ones with a swirl for me!
Fred56 · 25/11/2021 14:18

I don't suppose anyone has an Argos code they won't use and could pm me. I'm trying to bring my over £100 basket down by a few pounds. TIA

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 25/11/2021 14:19

How strange @Choconuts I had one on my kitchen table awaiting wrapping!

The chocolate pots are sealed but the dipping bits aren’t. So okay if your sister warmed the chocolate and then portioned some off for herself. The dipping bits aren’t suitable for coeliacs so she’d need something added to the present.

Can anyone help with Just Dance game? I’ve seen it reduced to £21.99 but wondered if better on Switch or PS5?

Thanks!

Choconuts · 25/11/2021 14:28

@tempidentity

I need some present suggestions I have name changed for this one so as not to out myself. My adult child has recently told me he is transgender and transitioning to female. This is early days as hormones are just beginning to change her shape so not quite ready for a whole new wardrobe Not a "girly" person as yet and very practical minded /techy. has always been difficult to buy for. The wider family don't yet know. What can I get her for Christmas?
@tempidentity what about a lovely silk/satin dressing gown or kimono from one hundred stars. They should fit all shapes and sizes
CatOfTheLand · 25/11/2021 14:29

@OhRex

Has anyone ordered bubble tea bits to make at home and have a recommendation???
We used normal tapioca pearls, chai tea and condensed milk. Or sugar free coffee syrup and soya milk
@andadietcoke can you explain a bit more about Rocketbook? How does it work? Is there a starter kit?
It's basically coated paper. You write on it with Pilot Frixion pens and it dries in 10-15 seconds. Each page has a QR code on it. I use the Rocketbook app, scan the page, and it appears in a folder on my computer. I tend to leave pages until I've actioned anything, and then give them a quick spray with water and wipe to clear them completely after they've been scanned.
Every Rocketbook comes with a pen and a cleaning cloth - you don't really need anything else in terms of a starter kit. They do mini which is a3, and then a5 and a4. The core ones are just dotted or lined, the fusion ones have different pages. I've found with the planner that I only use a few of the pages though so have bought a core as it's more usable.

Yeknom · 25/11/2021 14:35

@MooseyMoo we have it for the switch and it's absolutely great fun and loved by all ages/dance ability!

Prizepudding · 25/11/2021 14:35

@OhRex we have ordered from the bubble panda, got a “choose your own” flavours box and it arrived in good time and looks fab. No idea how it will taste but would recommend based on contents and delivery times

handmademitlove · 25/11/2021 14:36

@Choconuts beware Hotel Chocolat for anyone with Coeliac disease - most of the chocolates themselves have a "may contain" warning and are not suitable. My DH was most disappointed when he realised this! I can't see if the dipping pots are okay as the ingredients are all mixed together in one list..

Choconuts · 25/11/2021 14:36

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin that was good timing!!!! Thanks for the brilliant explanation and photo - will have to look for some lovely gluten free bits to add. I'm sure her husband will have no problem finishing off the rest of the box! Thanks again Smile
PeppaPigOinkOinkOink · 25/11/2021 14:36

Can someone explain the velvitiser subscription to me please? Is it a monthly cost for the drinks, or does the initial one off cost cover it? I cant make much sense of the website. TIA

Racingadmin · 25/11/2021 14:39

Amazon have the 2.4kg box of celebrations for £13.99. Think I paid £12.99 last year but they were excellent for putting a random handful in with presents

QueenOfCakeandCoffee · 25/11/2021 14:42

I came on here to ask if any one has a bubble panda code please?

Ok thanks for the warning @handmademitlove I'll investigate further!
